I think the only way to tone Path down would be to make his tactical behave like an actual grapple where you have to use it to swing or reel yourself in, and remove the really fun stuff you can do like shoot it into the ground and use it like a pole vault. Fun as hell but it shouldn’t work like that ‘realistically’ and I feel it’s a big part of why he’s always so versatile as you can grapple without having to use it like the laws of physics would require <3

  2. Honestly, if Pathfinder doesn't receive any new changes, I won't complain at all. Last 2 seasons it was a real purge for him being transformed into a useless big fridge.
    Now I am having fun playing it again… Hopefully! So I am not going to complain

  3. Ive mained path since he came out. As far as balanced goes its as good as it gets for now in my opinion i think giving path a solid 25sec cool down an no ult from beacon scans would be perfect

  4. Right now, as a pathfinder main I have to say that he's not returned to his former glory as a must pick for every team but I have to admit I switched to octane late in season 5 but with all the buffs and nerfs I think that right now he's a good legend.

  5. Pathfinder was OP until the 35 second cool down. Glad that was changed.
    However I don’t understand why people want low profile removed. If you are a good pathfinder, you have such an advantage over every character in the game with the grapple. It is literally unfair to grapple 2-3x in a lengthy gunfight, which occurs more frequently in high level play. Yes his hit box is bigger than Wraiths but nobody can move like pathfinder can, and a GOOD pathfinder is almost impossible to hit. He is basically Spider-Man and this is why the developers made the cool down 35 seconds to begin with. See patch notes for season 5. To me still, the best character in the game. Octane, Loba, and horizon just don’t compare in terms of mobility and if there is one thing I’ve learned in Apex, it is that mobility will win you gunfights, assuming equal gun skills. Plus, the only character who can track you down is another pathfinder…everyone else-Good luck LOL

  6. Devs- Pathfinder has to much movement capability and we are nerfing his 15 second cooldown by 130%

    also devs – lol horizon can provide movement for her entire team and oh by the way not only is it 15 second cooldown it starts as soon as you throw ability so by time lift is gone its like a 5 second cooldown

  8. Out of all the characters, he’s one that I’m the most content with being overpowered compared to the others. Grappling takes mechanical skill to use and you get punished for a bad grapple onto a team and if you miss your grapple running away then you’re dead. Imagine the same thing but with Caustic for example. It takes no skill to just throw barrels in a room and throw your ultimate at a team. Just comparing the two and showing why I’m okay with path being a little more OP than other characters with oppressive abilities like Caustic, Gibby (he’s a little strong too), Bangalore, as well as info characters like Crypto and Bloodhound. Those characters being OP are not good for the game in my personal opinion. I think BH deserves a soft nerf again.

  9. I wish they’d stop f’ing with us Pathfinder mains. Like what did we do to deserve all this nerf bs. I mean, wraith is the best character and they barely touch her. There was really no issue with Pathfinder ever. He’s never been OP. Only the Devs ever thought Pathfinder needed nerfing. I don’t ever recall players upset about Pathfinder’s abilities. The guy is literally the easiest legend to hit and down. I beg the Devs. Love Pathfinder. He’s not the one that needs attention.
