I think a pretty good buff for cypto is the ability to cast his emp without deploying his drone, so when crypto cast his ult we can choose where the emp will go and then he would deploy the drone to the direction we want.

Buff: 1 faster in and out of the drone
2 drone can take more damage
3 emp does more damage.

Keep in mind crypto even with a good buff Is not an easy character to master, the buff has to make mastering him worth it.
no one realizes that crypto is an amazing character to use, mans got 4 ablilities he can grab banners he can emp people he can scan people and he can even revive people instantly and not just that you can leave his drone and he can still scan enemies. people dont use him because they dont like him as an medic character almost like lifeline but op at the same time. they rather use wraith and she still gets huge nerfs and when they die they blame their teammates for being trash but still use wraith. next wraith buff is gonna be once she dies you instantly get pulled out of the game.
If you could place your drone like an ash ult it would be huge

My poor crypto. I remember playing ranked and a dude accidentally picked crypto and totally freaked out. Cant wait for him to get some love. But in the meantime see yall on HALO, FORZA, or Battlefield
0:16 rip. It gets disabled with Rev’s silence too.
So the buff I feel he needs, is like Mirage's clone control, I point to a place the drone goes there. Then I can point to the side of a building they're sitting in and Ult. Instead of hiding, flying it over, placing it and not getting shot, and Ult. Take out the clunky, it's the damn future where mechs fight, my damn drone can fly to where I point and EMP. The only time Crypto drones get shot is when there's downtime. So take out the downtime by letting him point his drone around and then he can still fight and it works.
I think they should buff Crypto by making him be able to carry guns or loot with his drone that would be so good
I love crypto so much he used to be my second main but honestly it was getting frustrating to play him. I’m really glad he’s getting a buff though especially by the same person who worked on wattson.
Imagine like there was a button for him to just send his drone out forward kinda like ash tactical but you can click a button to stop it in place, so without going into your drone you can get it where it needs to be and not be miles behind. An fov increase on the drone would also be cool. I also like the idea Kandy had with the drone following him but I think itd be better to just have it behind him when the drones not out and then it scans whatever crypto is looking at so you're passively giving your team info even while fighting. I really like these ideas cuz they just let him have a more aggressive and fast playstyle, which he especially needs now because he's so passive to the point he's basically useless. Also he's gotta be able to use his drone while healing, it's like the one time you might use it mid fight, like please.
Maybe one good buff would be making it so his drone marks in the radar where your getting aimed at like the high alert perk in call of duty games
Crypto buff? Show enemies when scanned on mini map (red/green arrow icon) like how his Story of the Outlands or be able to see what the drone sees on the remote rather than the drone , a quality of life change idea? Using a ping and his remote , HACK can swiftly be sent out to survey the area.
I think maybe a new passive where he can’t be scanned by any other legends since he’s the hacker
Like what kandy said have the drone almost always hovering ontop of crypto , the tactical would be like sending a mirage decoy to a location and doing a 360 area scan , ult still a emp nuke.

Crypto is way better than he makes it seem he hasn’t used it once during combat to actually put pressure on the enemy you can crouch behind and send it out, lay it above where they’re fighting takes 2 seconds🤣
What also would be cool is if crypto would say how many got hit, which is good for the team and the crypto himself
It’s so simple @kandyrew….. His drone should follow him around. His drone should be scanning 360 instead of in plain sight. And finally… slightly faster flight speed.
Crypto is the legend I fear the least. People who play him are usually terrible.

The buff for crypto i imagine is that he just pulls out his drone and the drone flies towards nearby enemies on its own. And the EMP shouldn't slow your team.

Crypto buff was on the web, where the drone was automatically operated. And to come the buff, must be an heirloom of his, maybe the drone??? Who knows? 😂
Mybe put lifeline shield at the back, but only can fit for 1 person like gibby, with the open map and everything, ciuld be useful i guess

Definitely having some sort of follow mode with a shorter range scan would be a significant buff. You'd have to give just that a go before doing anything else though – it could quickly be super powerful.
the biggest tip I can give for crypto is to drone while in the middle of a fight during some downtime

His kit in Arenas is near useless as well. He's gonna scan a banner there? I think they should let you target a character and your drone can follow them without you having to be in it.
