It's come to my attention that C6-ing Benny could have some unforeseen drawbacks depending on the rest of your team due to the pyro infusion. Take care with it 🙂
I don't have dilluc so I use Bennett dps 😂
People who use Bennett has a terrible luck in gatcha. Dont use him ever.

How can I go about getting Festering Desire?

Bennett + Chongyun + Xingqiu = Freeze-melt wombo combo team. Chongyun gives lots of Cryo to Bennett (E and Q cooldown reduction if Chong is C2) while Xingqiu causes enemies to freeze. Bennett then melts and causes lots of damage.
Why not use nobless obligue?
you always pronounce his name "bennetté" but it's pronounced ben-nett

I think a better showcase would've been:
C1 Bennett – duh
C1 Xiangling – Fire resonance, more particles, Gunba can reduce pyro res with C1
C2 Chongyun – E for CDR and ASPD, while applying cryo for easy Bennett E melts.
Venti/Sucrose – For grouping and applying VV debuff (and EM buff if Sucrose)
While standing in your ult + cryo field you'll have your E up every 1.7s, so AA AA (with aspd buff, applying Cryo), E (Melt) rinse and repeat, profit. For ults comboing for high burst, you can Xiangling E, into Sucrose E+Q for VV, into Chongyun Q for Cryo, into Bennett Q (then Xiangling Q to get particles). If you have dragon tales on sucrose you can switch before Ben's ult for that sweet +48% atk.
Plus, you don't really need to invest that much into Xianling, Chongyun and Sucrose for this to work.
I think the number of stars does not mean character's strength or efficiency, but rarity. since we can get Bennett with a standard wish or buy at Starglitter Paimon's Shop, he is an easy-to-get character and therefore 4 stars. we also have standard 5 stars and rare 5 stars. Madame Ping could be a 6 star character, как-то так – _-
Because he applying pyro status to anyone who stands in his ult is exactly why that freaking Primordial Geovishap oneshot me every time when he doing his attack when he hitting the ground with his fokin laser beam (ofc if Geovishap using hydro or cryo)
