  1. Playing on Xbox One X here. Agree about the aiming of weapons. Much more likely to miss those first few shots than when compared with something like D2. Also seemed to experience loading screens to be on the slow side and have experienced at least one crash, but put me back where I left off on relaunch. Jury's still out in my mind but am having fun, especially with the powers.

  2. Got bored early, also got terrible motion sickness …. not sure if you can change settings in game 🤔 I don't like to make comparisons but someone mentioned Diablo in another post and I agree, it felt similar.

  3. I played this last night with 2 buddies and we were both sold on the game after playing the demo. For us it kinda felt like Anthem and Destiny had a secret love child and since we love the entire concept we will get this game when it comes out.

Now I will say this though: This game is defenitly way more fun when you play with 1 or 2 other players as then you can make some pretty crazy combo strings when everybody is playing a different class. For example: A trickster can slow a group of adds in an area witch the pyromancer can then light on fire and the Devestator can then use the Leap Slam attack to kill the entire group and get health for everybody.

So when it comes to solo play this game can be pretty boring quickly but the more people you add to the mix the more fun it becomes

  4. I like it, but not as much as i hoped i would. Controls are smooth as silk, nothing to complain there. But the map structure is horrendous, we wanted to play the first mission again, and we couldn't. Because the last mission didn't ended. But if we wanted to end that, the demo was over. So how can we play the first mission again? Also the game keeps showing info on your screen about journals etc, super irritating… Then one of us his mic stopped working, as soon as he joined me on voice chat, his mic stopped working and the game itself gave him an error. Very irritating. Lastly I don't see myself grinding out these maps for hundreds of hours like i did in The Division for example.

  5. Movement in this game certainly looks like from GoW. Little bit clanky. What I have problems with is design of levels and lots of loading screens. In times when everyone trying to make something close to open world, this game looks like arena shooter. And I really, really hope levels become more interesting in the future, because if not, game is not worth 60 bucks, because for now it looks like GoW with skills and loot.

  6. PS5 graphics were good. Super fast loading. But to many loading screens. I turned off aim assist and that solved the aim spool up time which is completely wrong for controlers. First impressions were really bad. Sat back down with a open mind. Maxed 2 characters to 7 world 4-5. It started being fun. So it's one of those yeah I can enjoy it between live service games which is great. And the price. Well 59.99 for PS5 is to be expected. Hope future developers stop playing so safe and just go unique, be artists, instead of money crunchers…

  7. good fun to play – fast combat with solid fast combat mechanics to suit. Looks repetitive – not a day one buyer but will play the whole thing some time down the track. Will probably stick around if they have good PvP.

  8. I hated it. Dull intro. Mediocre combat. Underwhelming classes. I see no point to this game. Everything it wants to do is being done better else where. In fact… play Remnant instead if you wanna take a break from Division or Destiny.

  9. Sweet jesus this is the 2nd review I've watched having played it myself.

So many people saying it's not open world. It's not. Period. Never was. Never will be. The devs have never ever said it is open world. Your going in the wrong expectations so are naturally disappointed.

So many people complaining about loot. Your level 7…. not 50 like christ. Expectations manage them.

Its a pve game that's hub based. It's not open world, there's no pvp. It's not a live service. What you get is what you get.

End game content wise they have what they call expeditions.

We as gamers need to stop comparing it to division, destiny, anthem etc etc. They are all live service open world games.
So ill say it again outsider's is not a live service and it is not an open world game.

  10. it's a terrible game… well… lets say demo. But whena demo should be putting it's best foot forward, this is not a good start. I played through with all clases, and right now It has too many issues to list. Terrible cover, terrible controls, terrible camera, terrible story, boring skills, mediocre abilities…. feels like an early early access, not a $50 game.

A lot of people have compared it to gears crossed with destiny… I can understand the comparison. Personally, I would have prefered it to division crossed with destiny, which is what it feels like it was going for more than gears, but failed at horribly, seemingly achieving the worst parts of both games, but none of their strengths.

When I compare it too another, relatively recent 3rd person shooter… remnant, although a very different game, it doesn't have a patch on that. And it doesn't come close to the likes of division or destiny, and those two are far from perfect themselves…

  11. have played and didn't see any problems, gunplay was smooth for me (using M&K), the characters customisation was no better than div2 I felt so that wasn't an issue. I have enjoyed the start of the story and it seems to set things up well. The powers are a lot of fun (played tech) and I will go back to try pyro next. All in all, I think at this point it's a game I will enjoy, and it is a lot of fun. Yes, it has some issues but no more than most of the games available atm and should keep me going for quite a few hours to do everything until some of the other games actually provide new content rather than rehashed old content. Overall I'm looking forward to the release of the full game.

  12. It was somewhat fun like the lore and story but the performance on ps 4 was really bad. The game looked so fucking ugly. The cutscenes audio was not synced with the video and sometimes lagged back a few seconds

  13. Idk, the gunplay feels weak, and i mean that they dont have any weight or power in them when u shoot. Lmg smg ARs feel exactly the same. Snipers and shotties dont have that "oomph" feel.

  14. The game was a bit meh for me. it was ok but nothing stood out except for all the effin cut scenes. The boss battle just turns into move here press skill 1 move there press skill 2 move here press skill3. rinse and repeat. The movement seems a little off and at times I had trouble getting into cover. That may just be a bug in the terrain. anyhow I am solidly on the fence on this one. I can see why some enjoy this it just may not be the game for me
