The PC Gaming Weekspot: Indiana Jones! Hitman 3 Review! Star Wars! Other Stuff!

There’s going to be an Indiana Jones game from the Wolfenstein developer, the folks behind The Division are making an open-world Star Wars, and we’ve got a Hitman 3 review for you. After an extended Christmas break, video games are back. The PC Gaming Weekspot is the only video games video podcast you need in your life if you’re looking for some lovely PC gaming news and some wonderful PC gameplay. It’s time for your recap of the last seven days in PC video gaming.

How could MachineGames’ Indiana Jones game announcement not lead Headlines and Hot Takes. It’s been so long since we’ve had a video game featuring a wisecracking treasure hunter not called Nathan, so this is all a bit exciting. Watch us go back and forth on what this Indiana Jones video game may turn out to be. Also, LucasFilm Games didn’t stop there, as they also announced an open-world Star Wars from Massive Entertainment is on the way.Even with all this movie game chatter, there’s always time to stop off at Tech Corner.

Show and Tell focuses on one game this week, but it’s 2021’s first biggie: Hitman 3! Colm’s played through it once, Matthew’s devoured the thing, so The Weekspot Boys go in-depth in their dual Hitman 3 review, along with some lovely Hitman 3 gameplay.

Given the hoopla surrounding both the Indiana Jones and Star Wars announcements, it was only right that this week’s Mystery Steam Reviews would revolve around video games based on movie properties. And, as always, we round out the show by opening The Weekspot mailbag and answering your Burning Questions.

  1. Indie as a shifting hub based game a la Deus Ex would really appeal to me.

Great opportunity for exploration and side quests. Plus some lovely RPG elements as well.
