I have a decent gaming laptop, a switch and a PS4. Any game I can play on the gaming laptop, that's my preference. Switch has changed me, if a game can be played portably/semi portable, it fits my lifestyle so much better.
look if you cant afford to buy ps5, xbox, and a pc so you can play whatever you want, you probably shouldn't be wasting $500+ on any one of those systems… I dont understand why this debate is still a thing in 2021. Buy and play whatever you want…
I have a gaming rig with a 3080 and a ps5. I tend to play all my first player only games on ps5 because I rather use my oled tv and relax on the couch. But for competitive games mouse and keyboard is the way. I still love both.

I'm battling between Xbox and PC. Coming from a ps4 I've realised if I want to upgrade to ps5 it will be expensive for me in the long term, in terms of adding up the total of 2 psn exclusives then my ps+ fees. IT'S TOO MUCH FOR ME. My friends are on Xbox/PC largely so I'm struggling to make my decision. Any ideas?
One thing you two are forgetting about for on the PC is PS Now which is playing Playstation games including certain exclusives on the PC and you don't even need to own those games which in time those PS5 exclusives will eventually pop on the PS Now and people would pay like what 10$ to 15$ a month for it or just do a one time buy for a month just to stream the game on Twitch a lot easier.
One things for sure Xbox Series X and PS5 sure are far less expensive and don't run into constant upgrade considerations that cost a wedge of cash yet deliver very very little in return .
I think you said it all yourself in this video's PC is a pain in the asse and cost a stack load to get even near the power of the console's .
