  1. 1:01:35 … uhm.. I watched myself as I did this quest.. removing my soul out of my body as I chose to do the unthinkable.. only returning to my mortal husk once the deed was done.. I witnessed what I had done in disbelief.. realizing this game is a experience I could not compare to any other game I ever played… It really fucked me up what I did and chose during that quest.. left to wonder if given the circumstances I might to similar shit if put in the situation…

  2. Well done on this great doco on the rise and fall of CDPR or sell the hype buy the news disaster. Turns out they either lied or blew sunshine up our ass the whole way along. I've logged over 100 hours on PC strangely doing not much at all. For me the story was meh. Very basic. The visuals are next gen imo but the game systems are no way near evolutionary or even revolutionary. The writing is better than most games but I just couldn't connect with V (and certainly not Silverhand – what a pain) like I did with The Witcher. CDPR have missed an opportunity to lead the next gen charge but chose greed instead by including old gen platforms. All that dev time could have been put to polishing the game into what it will ultimately become (hopefully). But yes, never trust corpos. Will we ever learn? Probably not.

  3. Since you ask, yes . . . This deep dive into the whole story, whilst not giving every single detail (which it obviously couldn’t) is comprehensive and, if anyone ever asks me, “So, what was that while CDPR drama?” I can now point them to this and tell them it’s the best, single video, that explains the entire story, puts it into context, and leaves anyone (even people who don’t know about gaming) with the full picture of what happened, and why it matters.
It’s as much of a story about how an entire industry behaves and the consequences that decisions have had upon real lives; from developers & creators, to the fans and consumers; not to mention the investors and the performers. The careers of artists, like Pondsmith, Reeves, and all the actors, writers and music creators will all be effected by this game and its future. And this video has (or should have) a broader appeal, to anyone concerned with the human drama around vast quantities of cash changing hands and changing lives. Nothing short of a palace coup, within CDPR, would be necessary to restore confidence in the company now, it seems? And that’s only if they deliver the fixes and amend some of the content. As it stands, it needs more than just bug fixes, but also all the NPC updates, cop fixes (urgently) and all of the things that we were promised, to be added to the story and open world content; including those all important side activities.
One of the joys of Red Dead and GTA has always been the player’s ability to go off and leave the game, without leaving the game, so to speak: just to enjoy a little Poker, Cinema, Golf, Pool, Theatre, whatever you like. Or, to get drunk and shoot up the town and deal with the natural consequences, from innocent’s fleeing, to the law showing up, to being a wanted criminal. Or, there’s the hunting, shooting, fishing and out door sports? There’s nothing to do in CyberP’s desert, outside of the “rails” of the story.
But, you make the case as well as any I’ve seen, without bias, just telling people what actually happened. And that’s not just helpful, but it’s actually very important right now. This is, to answer your question, not just a really good video, but a valuable contribution to the broader discussion. It gives everyone a chance to be, “informed,” when deciding whether to buy the game, wait, or not bother; but more importantly, it informs the discussion about what comes next, and the input from the fans. I hope this video gets seen by many and genuinely influences that discussion. And, for that, I’m genuinely appreciative. 👍
Hope that answers your question? ✌️👍
Happy New Year to you and yours, btw. Be safe ✌️

  4. Aight I'mma just say it. I understand people are unhappy I understand as a lawsuit going on and people want to report about it and make videos but y'all need to stop putting Keanu Reeves characters face on every damn thumbnail for every video every YouTuber is doing it. That man did nothing to nobody and he's like the face of this dumpster fire. S*** ain't right leave that mans face alone.

  5. I've played 214 hours and I'm enjoying the hell out of it. Of course I'd like to see the bugs fixed and some more systems added, some more depth, some more story, some more everything. Racing, braindances, cyberware, jobs, gigs, characters, etc. But all in all I'm loving it.

  6. The backlash against this game was honestly disproportionate, CDPR is still not as garbage as EA, Ubisoft, Bethesda and yet they're treated worse. They accepted and admitted to fucking up and have been very busy fixing as much as they can as quickly as possible, already patch 1.06.

  7. Love the video, even though this game is good I still think it's a huge disappointment. More than half the things we got hyped up by were removed or not as cool as we thought it'd be. And the ending takes away a lot of replayability.

  8. I wanna some heads rolling. And not the devs or the cleaning woman. No. The TOP heads that forced this shit to happen the way it did, while pretending it is the CLEANING WOMAN who is responsible.

  9. Something tells me the big profile departures during late development had something to do with someone at management deciding to scrap entire features from the game like a working wanted/police system.
