  1. See I don't even think it's an exploit. The way they go about nerfing her is… a mistake in my opinion. It's Riot doubling down on their typical approach of "don't actually attack the problem". This feels more like Riot forcing their own set meta.

    Kinda feels like a slap in the face to theorycrafters since it feels like any clever thing they come up with is going to end up getting slapped down by Riot.

  2. i have to quickly disagree about objective bounties as a concept
    yeah, i do think they're somewhat silly and not well implemented (i'm not sure about the current patch as i haven't played as much on it, maybe it's better now)
    BUT the whole "it punishes you for winning" is misleading. With this argument, every bounty is "punishing". But what is the way to signal someone is fed in a game? people just ping their bounties. just as if their bounties are actually less impactful than the lead that gave them the bounties.
    Do you ever actually feel like taking an objective or a kill punishes you through the bounty system (doesn't matter if objective or kill bounties)? very rarely.
    people already tried to bring this point up when bounties were added if you outfarmed your opponents too much.

    So the point of all bounties is that things become harder if you're behind, so the reward should be greater for fulfilling a harder task. trading 1 for 1 (again, doesn't matter if turret or kills) while 5k gold behind is a great feat and should be rewarded as such. Closing that gap a little faster is fair.
    I think it was in heroes of the storm where the rule was "trading 5-0 will always give you enough exp to come back to >-1 level difference"*, which is fair because it meant that if you were 5 levels behind and you somehow managed to outplay your opponent so hard that they all died without killing any of you, you actually should be rewarded for it
    And to anyone saying that objective and kill bounties shouldn't be looked at the same way, they should explain to me what the core difference is.

    *to those who don't know how heroes of the storm works, exp is shared among the team so all level up at the same time and there is no gold. So winning a teamfight will jump you equal in all metrics except the map itself.

  3. Top has always been empty, especially when TP is up. When you are FORCED to take TP the game is not healthy. I got tired of being a TP gank machine so the last 2 seasons I have been playing Karma top and doing a very similar strat to Janna top. Top with TP is old, is fucking boring, Top has al2ays just been an extra jungle with TP anyways.

  4. Controversial opinion:
    Riot needs to move away from the 1-1-2-Jungle meta and let players rearrange our champs on the map in a meaningful way, and I hope this is the catalyst that fuels that change

  5. I don't think Janna, or any other champion should be condemned to one role. But she is not being a top laner, she is like… a bug. These are the risks one takes when reinventing too much
