  1. I've been thinking a LOT about the economic changes that some say are ruining Tarkov, and yet others that say that the changes aren't enough, and that the LACK of changes are what's ruining Tarkov.

Let me be the first to tell you, that imo, the people claiming that Tarkov is falling apart and why are almost always the ones that are ruining Tarkov for everyone else.

This video explains why, my viewpoints, examples of which, and how I believe we could all use an emotional vibe check and at least try to let the devs show us what they have in store before going off half cocked without perspective.

  2. I just want this game to go back to being a survival game rather than pvp game it is now. I stopped playing because nothing has value for me anymore it ruined the fun and thrill :/

  3. you got it backward about the flee market…
i think the new player would have it easier if there wasnt chadboi running m1a whith 993 and thermal on every single fucking raid…worst lapua with thermal…have you played woods recently?
used to be my fav map when i started playing…until they added thermal
i refused to use them, i think its cheap…but its becoming a casse of 'if you cant beat them, join them' so i just stoped playing thats map…unless i play with budy who arent as scrupulus as i am about thermal, otherwise there is literaly no point going there

  4. I wish scarcity was a bigger problem. I dont mind the game being a pseudo sandbox like it is now but maybe change it up for a wipe to refresh everybodys love for the core of the game. Almost like adding a new gamemode for a few months

  5. Do you ever plan on shifting to a different balance of Evergreen content for tarkov, vs the time sensitive content you currently make? You're a great mind in the tarkov community, and I feel like evergreen content would do a good job of making you less underrated. +Onepeg @Onepeg

  6. People don’t understand that this is temporary, the economy doesn’t matter and the way you play the game doesn’t matter because it isn’t even released fully yet. The game in its current state is malleable because it isn’t finished so they’re experimenting.

  7. As a player of 4 years one thing that really needs to be cut down on as this game gets closer to "release" (lol) is mid wipe balance changes. The changes to crafting and fuel and Bitcoin farms early this wipe meant that I gave up playing almost overnight. All the guys (mainly streamers) that had sweated hundreds of hours by January and had their hideouts done and farm done then all the changes came. I was just like what is the fucking point? They made it so much harder for the people that don't have every waking hour to put in to Tarkov. All of the guys that already have a time advantage didn't give a fuck because they'd already exploited the ease of obtaining the stuff you need. It really pisses me off.

Hackers are still ruining the game at the start of the wipe mainly

If 12.10 with steam audio doesn't fix the vertical audio bullshit then I won't be putting any serious time into Tarkov until that's actually fixed. I have 0 trust in the audio system in Tarkov. I have tested with friends and had BS deaths to audio bugs where there are players literally sprinting 5 feet below you and you can't hear them.

Desync is an issue but they only need to get a little bit closer to the standards set by the likes of CS or Quake Live.

The idea of it being more RPG with you having to stay "in-raid" or in game more I think is great. It brings it closer to a Day Z or Stalker. It should be much much harder to stash stuff and game the flea market.

I think if they work on these aspects I'd be happy to start putting more time in again on top of my 500 hours I've already racked up. Right now though it's a tough sell for me personally

  8. Haven't played tarkov for the last few wipes because before that I had 500 million rubles just playing casually. Just been taking a break and watching hoping they will eventually make the economy harder

  9. The only people who should care about how people play this game, make money, what they do, etc are the cheaters that are there to ruin the game for us all. I do think Interchange loot was a bit wonky and I even myself get annoyed fighting only hatchet runners but, it is what it is. Not a finished game.

  10. I love Tarkov and I get the both sides of the good and bad of Bitcoin. My only input on the whole thing is that everyone (like 99.9%) that plays Tarkov always says the first 1-2 months are the best. The reason I feel this to be true is that everyone is kinda in crap gear an getting back to those millions of rubbles. However, once you get there your kinda just..done? Sometimes I get Kappa, sometimes I dont. Usually it depends on how lucky I get an if I find myself halfway to Kappa but ive got 30 million in my bank, I get pretty bored…

  11. It is a topic not worth to be talked about tbh. So far there is no Endgame in this game. After reachign Kappa for example there is nothing else to achieve. People will start to hoard and become filthy rich anyways. Nerfing the bitcoin farm even more is just a bandaid solution.

  12. Ok, listen. I have a crazy idea, I don't know, sounds a bit ridiculous but here it is:
People should stop doing 30-second raids rushing loot spawns like morons and play the fuckin raid properly.

Tarkov isn't a competitive game, there is no scoreboard. You don't "win" by shoving 5 tetrizes up your ass every other raid, there is no "tarkov richest" list. Explore the map, fight players and AI, try different weapons, mod a gun from your favorite movie etc, use gear that makes your PMC look cool, not what's meta. I guarantee that it's by far the most fun way to play the game.

  13. Thank God, finally a sensible, logical and neutral "solution"… keeping it plain and simple.
Unlike others that suggested converting Fence into a Blackmarket dealer and not having high tier armor and high tier ammo on the flea which imo will just complicate things further.

  14. We have expensive Bitcoin. But also gpu are expensive too. 1.7 kk instead of 300-400k. Same for items for crafting gpu. I think it’s in balance🤷‍♂️

In my opinion making twitchdrops with top items few days after 12.9 is a bigger problem for game economy

  15. I think the responsibility lies at the developers, not making the possibility of getting trillion roubles so easy.
I have 30 mill, bitcoin farm and a full inventory of weapons and im not playing the game because i dont think its a challange anymore. I dont find it fun anymore.

  16. It’s a product of the players and terrible game design though not just the players, BSG have “designed” a terrible system that takes players outside of the raids to make money so of course players would abuse that. The flea market is a terrible addition to the game and removing it won’t hurt casual players because no one has the ability to buy meta gear off the flea so it’s an even playing field.

  17. I just miss that rush when you find an expensive item or kill someone geared and want to extract, things are way to common I'm not bothered if I extract or die now

  18. Honestly, I could die to m995 10 times in a day before I start to get tilted. I think a big problem that pairs with the availability of gear is that m61s are too readily available. The ammo 2 shots through tier 5 and 3 shots through tier 6. To top it off you can craft 300 of them for around 500k. The SA-58 has been in the game forever and hasnt been this much of a plague so I hate to say it but I dont think the MDR is that big of a problem, but theres nothing worse about having the best everything, and someone kills you with 2-3 bullets center mass. I think that for such a strong ammo type, its too readily available and its a little too under the radar in terms of how cheap it really is. This ammo is technically, 33% the power of a .338 ap round but only hovers around 5% the costa and can be used in 5 times the guns (I'm excluding bolt actions because if someone kills me with a bolt action: *Poggers*). Unfortunately I went to make some food so i lost my train of thought but fuck m61s.

  19. MY opinion: Most of the stuff you can buy from traders (expect health stuff, low to mid tier ammo and armor) should be found in raid only. A full modded gun should be build from weapon parts you found in several raids. A full modded gun would be something you are worried about to lose cause it took time to get the parts for it. Not everyone is full geared after couple of days. Best ammo has to be crafted in the hideout or you have to find it. I know lots of people would complain about it because it makes the game "slower" but i think for a game like tarkov this is something to think about, maybe? I have a slow playstyle and dont like the "copy and paste" weapons. It should be something special what makes you happy to use it but also reminds you of the loss you have to fear. Idk if I am the only one who is tired of the "COD" like rusher pros that dont care about their stuff because they bought 12 Slicks of the flea. MORE barter trades, LESS direct purchases with money.

  20. I've played Tarkov for 4 months now. (800hrs this wipe) And I think it's really fun trying out the different high-end kits. If the flea market were to get removed/ made it a lot harder to access, I don't think i would play as much.

  21. BTC should be turned into a barter currency, so no rouble conversion, Make Fence into a bitcoin barter only trader, where you can trade highend stuff for coins. Fixing Flea would take a bit more of a task, I would say allow people to sell to the flea, but not buy when they get to lvl10, they only unlock buying from flea once they get lvl4 traders, this would allow them to profit from flea, but also limit what they have access to, basically pushing end game later into the wipe with the odd player getting at some highend gear via BTC barter trader throughout, it would rely on your skill via experience in game looting to get at the good shit before lvl40. Heck they could make the cap even higher, lvl60 for lvl4 traders.
