  1. On my ps5 whenever I download things i have to reset it a few times for it to fully download and randomly in games i get lagged out cuz of WiFi errors but xsx that’s right next to it on the same WiFi is always fine

  2. The only issue i have is that i have to delete games i store on my ssd twice.
I had one single crash. That's it.
And my ps5 has already been running for hundreds of hours.
It runs smooth and everything works just finE. on rest mode too. All updates runs automatically and i can fownload games via playstation app and i get messages when the games is ready to be played.

  3. “Unstable mess” is over dramatic no? lol..

The only issue I’ve had isn’t even a major issue really, its the fact that I can’t store more games and that’s temporary for now.. the downloading seems weird if it’s both of your PlayStations and not a lot of other people’s.. maybe wifi 6 still has some kinks to work out? I have had ZERO ISSUES ever since week 1 where it kicked me out of my game(sackboy). And lack of games is not a good complaint come on, there some good stuff and a lot of stuff from Sony that game our recently that they are updating already..

  4. Interesting issue you have, very odd to me. I don't have many PS5 games so that's probably why I'm not experiencing this issue. I have MANY DIGITAL PS4 games and I simply have an external 2TB-HDD that houses all my PS4 game and store PS5 enhanced PS4 games on the system SSD. I feel sad and frustrated 😞 for you Rich.

  5. Sony used to do this with the PSP. I remember having one and getting a memory stick for it… when I put it on, it refused to let me add audio tracks to it because it wasn't a version that allowed for some kind of DRM… Basically Sony is forcing you to buy a certain brand that they certify and charge a premium for… just to add security to it that you don't want on there in the first place….

It's like when I had a Lenovo laptop and it wouldn't let me put in a new wifi card because it wasn't some brand that they approved. I hate when manufacturers do this… It's not worth the headache.

(and I used to use the PSP for audio because damn, did it sound great)

  6. I was always a console guy but I've lost patience for all of Sony's BS. A gaming PC may cost more but I'll be able to upgrade the GPU on my old pc to one that pees all over the PS5 in less than a year. I'll just play the tens of thousands of games I already have with whatever controller I please while I wait.

  7. I never buy a system when it first comes out. I always wait for at least a year or when the second model comes out which is always better. I’ll buy a PS5 and Xcube when the pro models come out or the slim in 2 years.

  8. 1: downloading on ps5 is a smaller issue than its ever been and there’s not much out and if there is, why do you need more than 6 (ps5) games at once? I use my drive for about 200 ps4 games and there’s not much ps5 games so..
I put my ps5 in rest mode very rarely but when I do, I never have a drive problem or a download problem. Honestly, I have pressed the power button and it didn’t turn on, I thought it was me, used the controller and it powered on. Happened once, but that’s a thing I guess. Never put it in rest mode tho. I safely remove drive, close apps log out, and power off. Download 30gb in about 10 minutes so there’s no real reason to put it in rest mode I mean what’s the point of resting if it will be done soon? Ps5 is so good with downloading that I start a game, automatically says game needs to be updated I say “whatever. I’ll do it when I feel like it— playing this game” before a match of Cold War is done my games are updated and downloads are complete very, very shortly. I literally have 0 problems updating. I think this guy never powered his ps5 off and must always test it because I don’t have any of these problems except the powering and that’s happened once and I almost always accidentally unplug my ps5 while it’s on. Reboots drive and ps5 and that’s it.

  9. I've had ps5 for 13 days now, no issues for me. And I've been using External HD for PS4 Games.
Also I've been putting it in sleep mode, and wakes up every time at single controller press. No wifi issues.
Now I live in India and we've got Russia based consoles here, officially. So maybe some internal revisions for hardware been done which is very less possible, but literally 0 issues. Completed miles morales, god of war, days gone, playing all stars, and some other..

I did get 2-3 updates in these 11
    13 days.

  10. My ps5 is buggy. My system downloads and installs patches and ignores the option settings that I’ve set. It also downloads huge fake patches. I called Sony about it and they had no clue how to fix the issue, they instead told me to make my system my primary one. Storage is also becoming an issue already.

  11. I feel sorry for PS 5. They are stuck between lockdown and scalpers. Due to the lockdown majority of the factories have shut down which means very limited supply and scalpers using illegal bots and scripts to buy whatever supply there is left.
