Don't want to get political, but it reminds me of the BLM's movement during 2020, when G-F's deceased.
When BLM's occured, Fortnite removed all the police cars in its game without saying a word.
I think they are doing the same, but with what is currently happening in the world : Fortnite protest by using the silent treatment.
Plus it is better for them to not talk about the War theme of Season 2, because the countries concerned could easily use Fortnite as a political tool, and I don't think Epic Games wants their family-friendly game being involved with all of the stuff currently happening.
