The problem with Tarkov is all the streamers stopped playing it since it's most fun to play games with friends and the devs refuse to add teammates names over their head, NO REASON not to add this, not only that, still extremely buggy, AND on top of all of that: It's not on steam, and from what I have heard the devs are not refunding the games to people and that's why they aren't yet on steam, and the game has died pretty much. If they fix all the bugs, bring it on steam, and have teammate indicators like Arma. Arma does it right, ultra realistic yet it shows names, DayZ does not but DayZ also has more customization and it's not as much of a problem, Tarkov is the biggest problem

Scavs are supposed to be there near the start. They have been for years, yes SOME player scavs join partway into a raid, but for a very very long time there have been player scavs at start (or within a minute of start). They supplement the NPC Scavs. Scavengers are ever present, they belong there. PMCs "raid" areas. They go in, grab stuff, and get out.
This is balanced by them spawning with mostly absolute junk gear. A solo scav stands little to no chance against a PMC.
Also, dude you gotta slow down a little bit as PMC. You shouldn't head on push scavs as a PMC like that. There's no benefit in it for you. What are you gonna do? Loot his uber leet TOZ? PMC is about surviving and being smart. Scav is about aggression and YOLO.
He needs to hop back on Tarkov and fight the cultists for the one time

I tried to play this game but it is just terrible imo. I love the gunplay and hardcore aspect of it but AI and clunkiness ruined the whole experience for me
