  1. Where Sony messed up was continuing the hardware business model. What this entails is to sell electronic hardware snd lock its library into that console. The put very little effort into software and services as we can see. They have inferior audio software with no DTS:X or Dolby Atmos for games. No GamePass equivalence. Inferior backward and software compatibility while dropping Vita and PS3 stores. No Smart Delivery. Inferior network for multiplayer. No focus on cloud gaming. All we continue to get is more hardware with a PSVR2 while they also abandoned their previous model. We are in the software era of gaming where hardware is no longer the main moving model.

Another point I like to add is that it will take Sony years until they try to catch-up, by then MS will have new software innovations. It’s all coming back to bite them in the butt.

  2. Mh brother has bene having a terrible experience and apparently many others and it's something I don't see talked about at all. His ps5 crashes everytime he tries to boot a ps5 game, only plays ps4, has reset it done everything multiple times and nothing. He's called sony multiple times and each time they say it's a software issue that is causing a hardware issue and that he needs to wait for an update to fix it. It's been 3 or 4 updates already and nothing, and sony can't take it back and check it. I would look up on reddit about Error Code CE-108255-1

  3. Awesome video// Sony’s bumblings make it really here to defend ps5.. this is what happens when Sony decided to rest on its laurels, attempt to rinse and repeat the last generation.. problem is, they’re facing an entirely different ms. I love my ps5 but at $500, we should not have to tolerate this stuff while waiting for Sony to figure out what exactly are they trying to do

  4. You're being a BIG BABY! But really though this next gen PS5 seems to have reverted back a generation to where its only good for playing games and thats it. Even the storage is a problem. On Xbox you get this seemless transition from console/PC/Cloud Gaming and back to console again and not miss a beat. Everything just does what you expect it to do. With that said I use my PS5 to play Sony exclusives. Over on Xbox I play their exclusives and everything else under the sun. Gamepass is just awesome.

  5. I feel like when I started to play the PS5 it was amazing and Sony just needs to fix a little few things. First, is the saved data, if I want to transfer my save to my PS5, I got to do it the old fashion way to transfer the data to a USB which I don't mind. But there should be a way to have all your savings on your account instead of turning your PS4 on. Secondly is the Game Upgrade. I love the upgrade, Miles Morales, to the PS5, but I just want the PS5 version of the game only not the PS4. Also, it's the space on the PS5 and Sony is going to test which SSD is compatible and it probably going to take around E3 for them to unlock the slot.

  6. The PS5 in comparison to the Series X|S is amateur hour on so many levels. They clearly underestimated the massive leaps in software that Microsoft was going to unleash and it's quite honestly embarrassing at this point. They are undoing all the goodwill they had going into the generation just like Microsoft did from the 360 to One generation. And on top of all of it they are going to lose the games narrative as well.

  7. Dude you can change all resolution or performance settings in each game! What you were talking about is if you want it to be set at that particular mode in each game automatically 🤦🏽‍♂️

  8. XBOX QUESTION:
When you install a disc based XBOX ONE game which has a XBOX SERIES X upgrade, do you have to download a separate version of that game or is it just a patch?
FOR EXAMPLE I have the PS4 version of Spiderman Miles Morales, and I had to download a separate game altogether for the PS5 upgrade.

  9. It’s strange how closed off the PS5 is. Not just navigating the UI and the features but not allowing third party accessory support. Not to mention lack of updates on the system and from Sony themselves. Something is off with Sony/PS5 and the silence is starting to be heard.

  10. I had a feeling Sony was going to carry over their annoying issues from PS4 to PS5, such as the "copying" of games after updates, which is why I got a XSX first, and will wait for the PS5 slim or pro down the line. People forget that Sony did not allow storing games to an external hard drive like 4 years after PS4 launched, way after Xbox One. It's also obvious that backwards compatibility was not a priority to Sony the way it was to Microsoft, and it shows with their implementation on BC on PS5 right now.

  11. the continuity and ease of use of xbox continues to impress me. It also reassures my friends that they aren't missing anything yet, by not having one. This is a weird Gen so far. Still haven't been able to get a PS5 yet, and other than Spiderman, don't feel i need one.

  12. Sounds like you're just being honest and transparent.👍
It´s nice too see that Journalists/YouToolers/Sites/Fans and yourself are calling out the
    valid shortcomings of a platform.
The arrogance and the lack of honesty and transparency from Sony is not gonna help them when the hardware/UI/Ecosystem falls short of the competitors.
Xbox learned that the hard way in 2013.

  13. Question: Why would i ever want to download the ps4 version? Answer: In case you are running low on space on your PS5 you can use an external hard drive in wich case the ps5 version doesnt work,so you will need the ps4 version, because there is no external ssd support yet. I agree everything could have been made much easier for the consumer thou.

  15. Smart Delivery has definitely been a godsend. Just managed to score a 2nd PS5(sold the 1st one at cost to my best friend who mains Sony), and that damn update process was so fkin convoluted. You definitely see the PC influence with Microsoft, definitely tries to streamline and auto-update as much as they can and everything is just less of a headache.

Also, I do love the haptic feedback , but any game that involves button mashing needs to GTFO with it as a default. I think about how Horizon: Zero Dawn felt with the perfect draw on PS4; that justifies a sound and vibration, but if my controller's trigger provided resistance, I would've been annoyed.

Also, IDK how they only managed 600ish GB on a 1TB HD. All I have to say about that.

Def seeing MS's work on making an, "ecosystem," paying dividends, too. PS3's UI was trash, and 360 was alright, then PS4 ended up being good while XBONE started bad and worked towards a streamlined format over time. I loved that I was immediately able to navigate the setup process on my Series X bc it was essentially the UI from my XBONEX, but with my PS5, I had to learn a new layout all over again, and definitely was flummoxed at times. Made me feel like a boomer at 30, and that's def not a good thing

  16. My major issue was the resting mode error, having to restart my console endlessly… It’s already going to be April and I still can’t increase my storage. What are you doing Sony?

  17. It's interesting how the quality and attitude of the consoles keep swapping each generation.
The 360 was amazing and basically one that generation between Sonny and Microsoft. What happens next? Sony comes out with a more powerful system that runs better and has more exciting games. They play to the fan base like they are on the same side. Meanwhile Microsoft comes out with the Xbox One, which is underpowered, and says hey if you want to have our product this is what you have to deal with because we have decided that's the way it will be. So the bulk of people ended up buying PlayStation.
This generation rolls are completely reversed. The Xbox has the most powerful machine. It also has the cheapest machine. It also has unbelievable value. Plus they seem to be doing all the little things they can to make the fan base happy. Meanwhile Sony is very much in the mindset of this is how we will do it and we're sure you're going to like it eventually. It's kind of wild

  18. This is why I haven't bought a PS5 yet. Cause I'll chuck that thing out the door day one with its 1920 issues. It's 2021 Sony wake up. Sony fans are so happy with second-rated crap, they'll just keep quiet & accept it. Holding on to exclusives for a BS console
