There have been a lot of talks around the state of the PS5 at launch with some features not being ready and a weaker first few months of software. Today I wanted to take a look at the situation and talk about if the PS5 should have been delayed.

  1. 👀 Saying it again, PS5 Pro is the way to go..wait.
I went from PS4 Pro – to XseriesX & was a wise move.
Loving XseriesX..was lucky to get the Console but was due to being quick in pre-order.

  2. In my opinion, they could have thought about a delay, but thinking about how financial planning works in big companies, delaying such an important product would have caused them not making the profits (the dreaded "quarters") they were meant to make for 2020. But yeah I would have liked more "refined" systems, especially from PS5 side. Xbox seems OK overall except no new games.

  3. Nope, I’m still playing Demon’s Souls and Spider-Man and have zero issues with the console. People acting like this was the first console to ever come out or something, are you new to this? Early adaptors aren’t entitled to Sony rushing out games and updates. Use your brain next time. Maybe you should have delayed your purchase? What a moron.

  4. I think they should have been sold at $1000. Obviously scalpers are showing what the true cost of the device is worth.

1k at launch with 100 dollar price decrease every year after.

  5. I have a rule. Wait for like 2-3 years. That way games are already out that you want and most importantly game companies make improvements towards the consoles. Also you can get them 100 dollars cheaper. I remember when the Xbox one launched, this one guy bought one from Best Buy or GameStop and the console was screwed up when he started to play it.

  6. It’s impossible to compare Nintendo launch in March to the Xbox/Sony launches in November, this year is unprecedented due to covid and it only appeared around March 2020, so the comparison isn’t like for like as Sony/ Microsoft had most of the year with closures of businesses and subsequent remote working from home causing delays to contend with. There are a lot of whiney people saying the console launches should be delayed, however it’s a choice they didn’t have to buy the console, but clearly millions did buy the consoles, so why should they be delayed because some whiners complained. If you didn’t think there is enough games for a system DONT BUY IT, it’s so dumb that entitled people believe a company should do what they want and there should be a specific amount of new titles available on launch day, it’s pathetic, a business making consoles has a business plan spanning years until launch day, and isn’t dependant on what software is available, they invested in making the hardware and need to sell them to recoup the investment, in this case through software, and services, and with backwards compatibility they can recoup some money through these titles and services like live and psn, it’s so arrogant to whine about game availability in an unprecedented pandemic, NOBODY WAS FORCED TO BUY THE CONSOLE, do people not think that game manufacturers also want a return on the money they spent for years making their games? what about demons souls should they have had to wait for a return on their investment if the console was delayed to spring? And have to have the game just sitting finished? This whole thing as always is a bunch of selfish whiney children with no idea how businesses run.

  7. I own both Series X and PS5 and I have to say admit that both of my black babies (yes, I have black plates) would not be smart adoptions had I owned the latest variants of the previous generation's consoles. I'm fortunate to not have any console issues commonly mentioned in these review videos, but the PS5 controller seems to be the weakest controller internally. I had top disassemble the whole thing to find that the D-pad cushion pad expanded and parachuted away from the action buttons. It's all fine now, but there could be more that Microsoft can do for the Series X to make it worth more than it already is.

  8. The same people who made Youtube videos demading Sony to give a release date to the PS5 are now making videos that the PS5 shouldve been delayed… Some of you Youtubers ran out of fucking topics

  9. At this point, hearing talk about PS5/XBox Series X is like hearing about Ferraris or Lambos-I’m never getting my hands on one so they’re like unicorns to me. I’ve pretty much lost interest and started spending money on PS4 games again. I just hope my PS4 holds up. I can’t even invest in a decent gaming PC now since last gen. Graphics cards are getting scarce.

  10. PS5 has 100gb less storage than my PS4 Pro, no optical output to link audio to my surround sound system, my controller still works fine after 3 years, and I don't need to buy a new TV with HDMI 2.1. I'll buy a 5 when my 4 dies

  11. I luckily got series s very lucky I might get ps5 if they ever available, I think they should have delayed if it meant everyone had a chance to get hands on one of either

  12. Underwhelmed with launch no exclusive titles , I always love Xbox controllers but I been through 3 packs of AAs , with the cost we should at least get 16hour playtime lithium or summin, new trigger tech and maybe a bit more if the wow factor , everyone I had new console since 91 the excitement would take over not this time

  13. I’ve had a PS5 since launch and I haven’t turned it on in almost a month. I’ve already smashed through all 6 games i was interested in for it, now it’s just chill’n taking up space on my entertainment center. I’ve just been trying to clear out some of my backlog on my PS4 Pro, no point in playing those games on the PS5 cause of the lack of space. Could’ve easily waited a year to pick it up and I would’ve been fine. If you don’t have one yet you’re not missing out on too much at this point.

  14. I'm really happy with the ps5
Even though there are not many games for it at the moment
The PS4 pro was just a terrible system that made so much noise it was unbearable
Love playing my favourite game Destiny 2 in 4k 120fps 💪🏻👍🏻

  15. I can't believe that sony didn't integrate library files for games and internal memory upgrade at PS5 release that was totally unacceptable. The playstation 4 is still currently the better console. If sony stop releasing games on the PS4 then everyone will be forced to buy a PS5.

  16. I mean I wouldn't recommend anybody to go out of their way to get a PS5 now but I'm pretty sure those that were fortunate to get one are having a blast with the few exclusives like Demon's Souls but mostly by playing a lot of PS4 games (and Cyberpunk) on 60 fps, sometimes at 4K. And of course theres the DualSense which is very underrated by those that don't have the console yet but I'm literally playing FPSs on my PS5 instead of the PC just for the triggers.

  17. yes they should have delayed both systems. But if sony sold the ps5 with the unreal demo installed i wouldm have bought it. the only real next gen footage we have seen so far… for now i will wait for the slim version and controller version 2… the first versions are always beta versions.

  18. PS5 and Series X is the worst launch ever. I've been saying it from the start. They have no games. I think the only reason everyone is desperate to get the consoles is because they're so hard to find.
