Escape From Tarkov is a realistic-based combat simulator. In it’s current state it is an instanced-based sandbox match where you spawn into a map with x amount of players, scav players, as well as AI (Scavs, Scav Raiders, and Scav Bosses). You bring in what you own, either having looted it and survived a prior raid or by purchasing from vendors whom you must complete tasks for in order to gain their trust and unlock access to better equipment, weapons and items. If you die you lose everything you brought in and everything you found (unless it fits and you placed it within your small protector pouch). Tarkov is about being thrown into a hostile and stressful environment with unpredictable encounters. There is currently no other game like it.
