  1. The issue is that ADC role relies heavily on their support to initiate and soak damage and whatnot. So if your support is sitting behind you and just sapping your lane exp and does nothing, then he's essentially useless and taking away your lane exp. Trading a support for enemy's ADC or jungler is totally worth it for your team. Support's life is basically sacrifice yourself for your ADC if it really comes down to that. If you're getting an even trade off of that, then it's worth it; otherwise, it's not.

I just hate those players that play mage support such as Lux or Vel'Koz or whatever and they sit behind ADC the entire game and do nothing other than sap your lane exp. At that point, ADC would just be better off on their own sapping solo exp lane and try to make something happen in team fights in another lane. It's really frustrating when you run into someone like that, because then you basically can't do much either unless your jungler comes gank.

  2. I main ADC. Think im pretty allright with the cs/wave control and looking for when to fight. This week i played Ezreal with a Nami support. Nami went fighting at level 1, while i just wanted to kill the minions to get level 2 first and then try to poke / go in. Ending up in a dead for Nami, and she is blaming me, saying im blind and asking why i don't go in, in caps :). I mean.. what do you expect. Watch the goddamn wave. We were at a minion disadvantage which i wanted to turn around. Then she does it two more times…. :):). Ended up in winning the game tho, gladly, but things like this just suck..

  3. What about when you are a support and you have to play with a braindead ADC? When you play Rell and they spam ping you to engage despite the other team having a Janna support that already proved her ability to instant tornado the second you click W?

What about when they pick an early game aggressive ADC, you match them your support pick, and they go on to play super passive letting the Vayne enemy ADC go even in lane?

  4. Such video is really useful even for supports.

I remember once I was playing thresh with a tristana who kept the wave pushed to tower for a long time … she was ahead in cs and we were taking tower plates since the enemy was ezreal yuumi.

Since the level 2 all in I didn't throw a single hook.

Tristana went back a bit to type in chat : thresh hook

At that moment any hook from me would have been an int … many adcs at low elo think it's all about kills and Don't believe that much in cs and plates and you as a support can either force them to stay patient or encourage them to int by getting tilted yourself.

No matter how much time passes … a bad play will always remain a bad play.

The same goes opposite when I'm adc and playing against an engage support if you keep the wave frozen and chill it won't be long till you get a free kill since they will most likely int under your tower.

  5. And what do i do when i get an ahri "support" that pushes on the wave with her "poke"? Or when the cho jungle doesnt take smite, on purpose, and goes top to screw the lane? That happened to me today in the span of 9 games. And its silver 2, sure, its trashlo, but it still isnt iron. Supposedly.

  6. I play support, main rakan specifically, and several videos from this channel helped me, but this specific video was certainly one of the most important, even as a support it's good to learn this, thank you

  7. I will say I feel like this is also down to the enemy champs. Personally I have had this sort of situation, playing xayah with rakan. In chamo select I thought I'll go crit lethal tempo to match the all in and if rakan just fights level 1 with me we can win with the shared xayah w. Then guess what? He just sat afk for 6 levels and we lost automatically. If I had gone the poke build, as this was a time the poke lethality was better than crit, and in that game they didn't have sustain and had heavy all in. In that game I could've had more impact by poking the enemy since my support didn't do what I expected they would. In the first game of this video the enemy support is sona, who counters poke as a sustain champion. Personally I think playing around how you can abuse enemy champions is better than synergisting with your support, because imo it's just as common that your support doesn't do what their champion is good at as it I they do what they are good at, and the same is true for the enemies.

  8. This should be listed as a general bot lane guide, considering the advice here goes both ways. I play fill and one thing I've learned about bot lane is your partner will rarely have the same game plan as you, regardless of whether you're the adc or support.

  9. Support here and really liked this video. Since watching you guys I have paid way more attention to my partner/his champion select and also playing around him meaning reading him not only on Champ select but also in lane. It gets frustrating when adcs seems to want to do their thing but it's fine as long as they have a plan unfortunately in most cases there is no plan 😕 😔 😢 love bot lane because it is one of the most rewarding when done well. Anyway good to see this video really helpful.

  10. as a main support i can say that i am that class of braindead engage support that throw his Q to any enemy that is in the front of the minions,i didnt analize the runes of my adc or the waves of the minions, even if i dont play adc a lot, this video has work a lot with me

  11. and this is why i started maining MF. sure, shes a very boring and generic adc, but i can all in with a good support, i can poke with a mage or enchanter or just farm under turret when i have an actual smoothbrain support that does literally nothing or one that roams like a chad

  12. I main support and actually I'm always picking support that will be best for my adc champ, build and his playstyle. Even asking some questions in champ select, cause I know that they don't think about that things at all…

  13. My ADC Varus: "I'm running a poke build and runes, why'd you pick Nautilus"
Me: "Nah, don't worry, I'll do all the damage, CCing and tanking. You just pretend the enemies are minions and last-hit them when they're low"
