I agree with the general idea here: that women do things and should do things for themselves, not for others. I have been lucky to have some really great guys in my life, I will say– ones that are not only respectful but have frankly treated me better than a lot of women. Moral is, there are so men that are embedded in toxic masculinity and that is a systemic problem indeed. The good news is, there are great guys too–that doesn't make up for these issues by any means. But I am hopeful change can continue to come. Even from when I was born in the 90's, I have seen change. Still, with the explosion of the internet I think a lot of these issues have full blown come to light, in ways that are now especially visible. I'd be worried to stream, tbh. I heard a lot about streaming being hard for women. I think it does lead to insecurity as you implied: men feel certain places are their "sphere". In reality it's silly to think that video gaming should be gendered. I'm sorry for any negative confrontations you may have had. I think we can continue to push for change and break into those stereotypes. Sorry for the essay ha
They disrespect Storm all the time!!! I was just talking about this with my bf. Smh how you downplay someone who commands natural elements. Not all of us do it for attention. I just want to get lost in good games. Good or bad LOL imma play to entertain and cheer me up. LOL at the sim that just walked in the room.
