  1. I like Sheogorath and the Shivering Isles, but I think he is the Prince we've seen the most of by this point. Hopefully we get some more videos like this about the Deadlands or Clodharbour. I'd love to see more about Peryite or Meridia as well… Or a video about the differences in religions among Tamrielic cultures.

  2. These are by far my favorite videos you guys have EVER produced. My favorite part is that you guys get to talk more about headcannon and theories and not have to worry about misleading fans because it's literally just your thoughts on the matter. I REALLY hope that the Pelinal Whitestrake video goes DEEP into theory territory, since there's so much we don't know about him.

  3. I've been addicted to Elder Scrolls games since Morrowind first dropped, but I've never played the Shivering Isles expansion. I actually played more of Morrowind than Oblivion after Oblivion came out. Took Skyrim to drag me away from Resdayn.

  4. You could almost compare the Freudian Superego, Ego, and Id to Hermaeus Mora/Apocrypha, Mortals/Nirn, and Sheogorath/Shivering Isles.
Hermaeus Mora represents the perfect ideal of infinite knowledge and understanding
Sheogorath represents the REAL chaotic madness that is the physical biological mind
And the mortals of Nirn are stuck in the middle, literally torn apart from either side by infinitely powerful forces of nature.

  5. The Wifey is listening with me, when she heard Drew’s flesh colossus euphemism, states “Even though it might be undead, there’s still hope for you”. I’m not sure if I should be laughing or crying. 🤣😂🤘🏼

  6. I like to believe Haskill is similar to Barbas, in that he is Inherently a part of the mad god, but where Barbas is the conniver's conscience. Haskill is Sheogorath's sanity, or mundaneity.

  7. I sort of fancy the idea that the Shivering Isles houses so many different beings that are associated with other Deadric/Aeadric entities because they saw him as a more powerful master in some way. Like, in lore we know that Sheogorath challenged the various other Daedric Princes (Hircine/Boethiah, Vearmina, etc.) & basically one upped them at their own games.
So after some of the servants of these Princes saw/heard about it they were like "Yo, that Sheogorath is legit." or whatever. Alternatively i guess Sheo could have just nicked some of them from their home realms as sort oc a 'salt in the wounds' sort of act after besting their Princes.
Don't know, just a fun explanation i thought about.

  8. can we talk about how eso online for western skyrim is so different to skyrim. such as some animals are not there anymore or how the tree ladies had snake like appearance then how oblivion and skyrim have them with legs

  9. Sheogorath's tax policy might not have been answered, however:
He kept TWO standing armies. (Golden Saints, Dark Seducers)
And in times of flood or Famine he often sent parts of those armies to help… or hurt. He's the mad king, he does what he wants.

This is why Oblivion is the best elder scrolls, even the memes have answers and lore.

  10. In times of famine… Everyone gets cheese. In times of floods… Everyone gets a floating corpse as a flotation device. Taxation policy? Doesn't matter, your soul belongs to the Mad God. The repetition of doing work and making money to lose money is insane.

  11. Just rewatched your college of Winterhold video. Next podcast needs to be about the different guilds between TES3 to 5. How they are different, how the quests are different and like a top list of which are best. Missed opportunity of each guild. Make it happen!

  12. question aren't the era's marked by the lighting of the dragonfires so would Jyggalags return(The Grey March) be connected to the crowning of a new emperor and lighting the dragonfires.
