Its a blunt subtle knife, I suppose.
I love these guys voices and their perfect story telling
Put it this way after the oblivion crisis dadric lords can't come to nirn anymore except nocturna thanks to the key keeping the portal to her plane open letting her agents move freely from her plan and nirn
So, you could say that the skeleton key can… unlock a person's full potential
Skeleton Key: able to unlock infinite potential, possibly the most powerful artifact to ever exist.
The Last Dragonborn: Hehe, lockpick go brrrrrrrrr.
I wonder did mephala had "good" relationship with lorkhan?
If it had then all the dunmer daedra had somewhat good relationship with shor, i wonder if there is something behind that…. 😉
Azura is the best god
I like how Nocturnal was literally a rebellious teenager and Azura was like omfg childdd
You guys need to team up with Lady Of The Scrolls.
I really think daedra can be killed for good since they were Created
Bro. Drew does the best narrations EVER
Let's be honest, Skeleton key sucks is Skyrim, that minigame gets way too easy once you hit the 1500 hours played mark.
THAT WAS AMAZING I love the thieves guild quests and especially when you become a nightingale
This video gave me some inspiration for a new character. Dark Elf woman who aims to be the ultimate thief. Her parents fled from Morrowind following the explosion of Red Mountain, and fled to Skyrim. They travelled further inland, over to Whiterun and started a farm. Her family was moderately successful, and had more than enough money to live on. When not tending the farm, her mother would teach her some basic magic, mostly illusion and alteration. She also taught her about necromancers and how dangerous they were and told her to never dabble in the profane arts.
Not all things can last forever though. There was a man who was jealous of the family, and coveted the land they grew upon. One night, he would sneak into their house and still everything of value. Once everything was outside, he gathered some wheat and piled it in the doorway. Lighting a torch, he threw it on the pile and ran into the night, but not before the daughter saw a glimpse of his face. Though she would make it out of the house with only se serious burns, her parents would die in the inferno. That night, the girl had her entire world stolen from her.
She would grow up an orphan, living a life off petty crime and later a skooma addiction. Decades later, coming out of a skooma-induced stupor, she would decide to get revenge. He took her world, so she will take his. She knew exactly who the man was, as he had built his own farm upon the remnants of her families home. In her anger, she broke her promise to her mother and learned a single necromantic spell: soul trap. She wouldn't let the man simply die and escape. His soul would be hers to use forever, in the form of a bound dagger that looks like the one that will take his life. Upon learning this, she travels to Whiterun to confront the man that haunts her dreams… Nazeem.
If only you would talk about the Deep Elves…
I love lore dive like this. Keep up the good work
I saw that clever timing of your voiceover and the video content. nice
Why are the Azura statue's breasts looking bigger than normal in Skyrim 👀
Hey Make a video on elder scrolls redfall maybe???
But she did realize the potential, she almost unlocked Sotha Sil's mind from his throne in the Clockwork City. And I guess, she could use it to acess the crystal tower somehow, if Fyr didnt have the protection of the key with him
Can anyone tell me the song playing in the background? I can't find it on Skyrim OST
On another not, another amazing lore video from FudgeMuppet, you guys reeled me in with Witcher 3 lore when I was playing it and here I am fully addicted to your velvety voices explaining the grand scheme of things in the ES Universe x) QUALITY CONTENT.
last time i watched Fudge Muppet was 2018 think the video was something about a wisard being a vampire thats why when using life vision she doesn't have a soul or something.
the reason why i keep coming back to Fudge Muppets channel, and before you say nerd, no its not that,
its actually because his competent in his voice acting. Like a narrator telling tales of quit literally lands far away.
call me weird but i actually fell a sleep while studying for a test while having him playing in the background.
Like a grandpa telling how he got his first car except all the details are always interesting.
Good on ya Fudgy you got me hooked.
Would the skeleton key work as how Talos made himself a god? It's the first thing I thought with all that talk of unlocking potential.
(I havent watched the whole video as im writing this comment (also shy for my bad englich, im not a nativ speaker)) Could the skelleton key be used in a simellar way as merunes razor? So by understanding it and how to wield it you could unlock EVERYTHING, like mysteries and secrets. Wouldnt be that cool? Or atleast interesting for some other deadric gods like hermeus mora to unlock knowledge even he doesnt know. Or people like Neloth with great(ish) power, potential and knowledge could use it to learn whatever they desire. It could turn out a simellar way as the guy who unlocked the true powers of merunes razor. I mean just imagine a mage like Neloth with this manifestation of "unlock all". He/She would be one, if not THE most powerfull mortal there is with unmatched and almost unlimited knowledge of magic and how to use it however you want, like controlling time to unimagineable degree. Which is already possible and used by a group of powerfull mages, with a name i forgot :D. (I hope that what i "wrote" here is understandable)
They dropped the ball on this one I hated not getting to keep the key ☹️
Azura is the consort of Lorkhan.
Detective: We found him in front of a mirror, dead. No apparent wounds aside from one small knick on his chin.
Padame:
Everyone else: you're going down a dark path I can't follow
Use key to open door to get shiny coins. Shiny coins make mortal brain happy.
So, the beginning is the Elric saga but with different names
Using the Skeleton Key to "unlock" the understanding of CHIM without zero summing.
So… to use the full potential of the skeleton key, you have to achieve KHIM?
I think the key is to unlock the potential to make nocturnal a Marriageable character. A key to her apartment if you will..
Ngl, I definitely kept the Key instead of finishing the Guild questline.
I mean, it was either have an amazing, unbreakable key, or some dumb, near useless powers.
I feel like I've heard this before?? why?
Is there a mod that allows you to return the Skeleton Key to Azura instead of Nocturnal? Maybe turning the Thieves' Guild/Nightingales against you for the rest of the playthrough?
Maroon's razor and aqua velva or a great combination for shaving 😁
What if the skeleton key can be used as a tonal key which can unlock the dimension the dwarves are in?
Could it be protected by nocturnal because she knows this?
couldnt mehrunes dagon stolen the key to open up a door between his realm and tamriel and like cut out so much time in oblivion??
Nocturnal is an evil Daedra B** rather honor Molag Bal over her and give Azura her key back.
Almost as easy to listen to as a Morgan Freeman narration.
FudgeMuppet is good at using vocabulary to make even the mundane interesting.
I feel like the skeleton key should have acted like an actual key. Unlocking every chest/ door that said "requires key" would be really helpful.
I'm pretty sure Nocturnal knows the key's value. If anything, she doesn't want YOU to know its true value. LOL
But it really would be interesting if Bethesda bothered to do more with it. Open gates to other realms? Open a gate into the very mind of Sheogorath? Who knows what fun could be had, if only the story teller would allow us to choose such stories?
Now I want a mod that lets you use this thing as a focus for some massively over-the-top conjuration and necromancy spells…
Wonder what fyr did with it… he is one of the greatest and powerful mortals
One must then ask if the key could be more powerful than the heart of lorcan. And if the heart can for an individual to the realization of the dream. Could the skeleton key make you the dreamer? Dagoth Ur really was going after the wrong thing then.
The power to remake yourself with Mehrunes Razor and the power to unlock limitless potential with the skeleton key. Have to admit I'm curious what the pinnacle of physical and metaphysical perfection would look like.
Imagine shaving with Mehrunes' Razor, then you accidentaly cut your chin and the insta-kill enchantment triggers…
Maybe Azura lost her house key lol
