The Truth About Video Games (The Good The Bad and The Ugly)

Video games are no different than most things in this world, with moderation and time managment, they can become great ways to kill some free time and become a cool hobby. However with no self discipline and excess usage, they can slowly take over your life and one day you can find yourself in the same chair for 16 hours. Some may use video games to escape the real world and want to live in a virtual fantasy where everything can go their way. Some may use video games as a hobby or an extra activity when they have free time. I personally have had an overall positive experiance with video games throughout most of my life and can say without a doubt that there is nothing wrong with them but with abuse, they can impact your well being negatively. Video games can be crutch or a tool, choose to make it a tool.

  1. All facts. Video games definitely do have pros and cons but the most important thing is to find a balance so that games won’t control your life and mind.
