In the beginning you say it's "the infinite dungeon". What do you think about it no longer having infinite floors though?
So is the soul ash weekly cap not cumulative? If i dont max the first week, can i not do extra runs the second week to get the full two weeks amount?

Please stop calling torghast infinite, it is in no way infinite. The original version was infinite the version we have now is very much finite.

4:51 That is actually absolutely horrible. People will yell at you for dying to often. Some people will choose to just do it alone then. And it also has potential for trolling.

I was worried that after you died, you were locked out of Torghast until next week. I'm sort of happy to see that it just ends your run and makes you start over again though. That will make it less stressful to learn it. However, it would be cool to see future systems where deaths did lock you out for a week in the future, so that you really focus on not dying.
I really hope the bring back an endless mode like it was during beta. 16 floors or whatever it is just isn't enough for a so called "endless" mode.
are the permanant upgrades account wide or character specific?
let's face it, this is pretty much why a lot of us want to play Shadowlands so badly, i look forward to seeing what i can do with each of my characters within Torghast.

Phantasma should drop like a spirit when you kill a enemy and it comes into your body like how demon hunters pick up lessor soul fragments. Even if you have to run over them would be better than looting them.

I've loved Torghast in beta, though I thought it was much better when the Twisting Corridors were truly infinite. I don't like that they limited it. But I'm confused. Are the Twisting Corridors still 18 floors (3 groups of 6 floors, with each group themed around one of the non-TC layouts) or have they been reduced to 6?
I would love that torgast is the new m+, this is a so fun thing.
So does Torghast not drop regular gear? Once you get your legendary, it doesn’t offer any more character upgrades?
This mode is basically the only reason I bought Shadowlands.
Finally some content that you can do with friends casually have a blast drink some beers and enjoy together.
No hardcore players stressing you out.
Nobody calling you bad at the game for playing the class the way you want.
This is an amazing design I hope they keep updating through the entire life of shadowlands

removing gear drops from this was mistake. i don't know why it can't just give you a piece of loot once a week for your weekly clear like visions did. make it 5 ilvls below heroic raid gear or something if they're worried about trivializing raiding. once people unlock their legendary powers, what point is there to torghast? no one will bother with it. torghast is dead on arrival unless changes are made. i'm sure they have plans for it in future content patches. but at the rate you unlock legendary powers, people will be done with torghast long before the second raid tier
FYI you get a small amount of Soul Ash from the campaign while leveling so you will be able to get your rank 1 legendary in the first week.
Appreciate the explanation. Up till now, I've been mostly in the dark with Torghast, hearing things that it only drops something once and that's it. Glad to have those rumours put to rest.

I think i missed this until i read the comment each layer is 6 floors with up to 8 layers and you get soul ash at the end of each layer is this correct
quick tip wait until the end of the week to do torghast, that will allow you time to get some decent gear to make torghast even easier
i read somewhere that if you disconnect it screws over your run for the week has that been fixed? my internet can be very dodgy at times.
