Well I hope the game awards will say something new about Telltale Games Batman S3 next year hopefully.
I think they're being honest on "we have nothing to say/share". (Experience from my game dev) I legit say it if I really have nothing worthy to show, or if I only have a grey box build. That means its in development but not quite complete enough for showcasing or answering stuff. Generally things get remade, cut or added so there's gonna be no definitive answer, plus no point in saying something which may or may not be present in the game.
