I’m super excited to release this one; it’s been in the works for a while now! I had a great opportunity to collaborate with some amazing musicians on the newest album from Coin Op. Studios (which you should definitely check out), and this is easily my best video yet!

On first listen to the track, I thought those hard-panned synths on either side would sound pretty cool on the marimba, so I started with those – they took quite a while to learn and practice, but they’re definitely among the most fun parts I’ve arranged for myself, although they were quite a challenge to record too! Hana’s playing was really fantastic as well, and gave this piece the extra expressive touch it needed, and I’m so glad I got to collaborate with her on this!

  1. This is a great cover of my favourite piece of music from my favourite game.
I heard a version of this live at a concert performed by The London Philharmonic Orchestra this February and was severely disappointed (the concert itself was great, just a bad cover of The Wretched Automatons), it made me think that creating an acoustic version of this song would be almost impossible, but your cover is brilliant, idk how this only has a couple of hundred views, I hope the YouTube algorithm sends a lot more people to your channel.
