As an xbox fan, bethesda becoming an exclusive game maker is like the only hope if 343 gets their 3rd strike in a row
@MrMattyPlays…that March 5th thing is only the EU's decision on the MS acquisition of ZeniMax, but it will start the ball rolling for the U.S. and Japanese decisions, so until those two countries also make their decisions MS can't close the deal, but if the EU gives the blessing on the 5th, then except the other two to follow shortly behind(most likely by April and then the deal can close by May 2021).
… it's a good thing Xbox and Playstation released these cutting edge, state of the art new gaming consoles with no new next gen games to play on them… :

Who the hell is EU to decided wether should they allow Microsoft to buy Zenimax. These are 2 American companies agreeing on a deal and I think EU is looking to get some money out of the deal. They are always looking to fine companies for no reason. Someone should create a company to fine EU bullying all deals and big companies.
I'm not calling the title click-baity, but I feel like most of this stuff wasn't insane, and some we'd already gone over… or maybe that was from Defining Duke… the overlap is getting a little confusing between your channel, HAM, and DD.
Regardless, still enjoy the content. It's nice to have a semi-focused channel to follow specifically. You remain my go to for Bioware, Bethesda, RPGs, etc. Every day can't be hype day, your energy is usually great, and the skits have been fun. Keep it up!

Finally switching to PC and ditching console. All these exclusivity talks, and PC always comes out on top. Not on Xbox this, Not on Playstation that, but it's always going to come out on PC.
Only thing I'm bothered about is if they make ES 6 x box exclusive

the elden ring leaked trailer clearly shows they have something fully ready to show very soon for that game, so unless there is another event going on other than microsofts in the next month, the elden ring trailer that got leaked is likely the one they could show at microsofts event.

Starfield actually IS Elder Scrolls VI: Starfield. Remember all that stuff in Kirkbride's C0DA? Yea, we're going to all of different Aedra/Daedra planets out there in the sky.
That is the question: why is it that when playstation buys a studio and makes it's game playstation exclusive that NO ONE cares. But when Microsoft does the same thing, everyone is up in arms? Are we honestly to believe that if Sony had purchased Bethesda that they wouldn't immediately say its all Playstation exclusive?
I think that no one wants to say anything after the Cyberpunk release. Everyone is gonna say Covid and I'm sure they are right and I think everyone will give the pass on that, that's fine. But are these, developers doing the same thing they did. Wanting everyone to have a decent gaming pc or the most recent console. Because ALOT of people don't have that.
Predicting a November 2022 release.
Even before COVID Microsoft doesn't have many xbox exclusives because they continue to shrink the release date causing developers to crunch down on making a game some what playable and then that game kills the whole franchise due to how poorly it was developed. If you need proof just look at the previous xbox exclusives USED to be, before they died, wound up being playstation exclusive, or no longer having a contract with microsoft.

I feel all game development is in a strange spot right now with what's going on in the world and this has made companies weary of announcing things.
Damn I wish there is going to be a New Vegas Remaster so bad.
Xbox will likely create a twitter post welcoming bethesda and thats about it. I don't see any events happening before Summer.
I honestly think the weakest link of Xbox is Aaron Greenberg. No offence to that guy, but the other platforms and companies can market and build hype around their properties significantly more with less.
I doubt Starfield will be released before everyone gets the next-gen consoles. Wouldn't want another Cyberpunk 2077 mistake of releasing a game that can't run on PS4, and get review bombed.
At best, they'll release it by the end of 2022.

That being said, as a gamer and as a consumer,…Bethesda's business decisions over the years have left me feeling pretty frustrated.

Many video's, blog's, post, etc… Around the web seem to indicate that many Bethesda's fans are feeling pretty similar as of late.
So here goes….I apologize in advance for the length but, it is a thought worth pondering if you've been a fan of Bethesda's games for some time.
Star Scrolls, I'm excited, or was for awhile, guess in a lot of ways still are….though we've already been able to play games like…
The Outer Worlds, Mass Effect, Star Citizen, No Man's Sky, & many others of their type/genre….
For years….
While Bethesda said….just wait….
In the meantime…
Play MMO versions of what used to be your favorite single player franchises.
The Huge, Open World, Story Driven, Save Player One, Rpg experience that fans remember Bethesda for….
Are all now filled to the brim with microtransactions, bugs, and BS.
All EA, Ubisoft, Activision style.
I hope it's worth the hype and wait.
I hope at the very least…
"It Just Works" without too many bugs, glitches, crashes, freezes, causing the console or PC to melt.
If not, will Bethesda actually fix it themselves….or lean on the modding community to do it for them?

Gamers, who where once, or are still huge fans…then have to look to the future for other Developers and IP's.
Games like Obsidians Avowed, Once Lost Games Wayward Realms, Mass Effect trilogy, Kotor Remaster, The Elden Ring, Dragon Age 4, Fable 4, Diablo 4, maybe a new Bioshock eventually, some day Baulders Gate 3 will actually leave early access, and Star Citizen may get a final, final build & become finished,
…but not likely.
Just so many exciting games in the works to look forward to…..
As The Next Elder Scrolls or Fallout game will be forever in the making.
