The reason mickey was feeling so suicidal was because not only did Minnie leave him, Goofy and Donald died in a car accident. Pluto died of rabies, Oswald came to Mickey to help him feel better, but they got into an argument and Oswald left him. Mickey lost everything he cared about.
I think you should play solo first cuz with friends its more fun and less scary you need the full experience you know but i do wanna see that

Basically to explain the first and second week
Suicide Mouse is about a tragic story about how Mickey loses Donald and Goofy due to a car crash,Pluto dies of natrual causes & Minnie cheats on Mickey with Mortimer,So due to this Mickey is ran insane to the point of suicide.
Julian is from the live action movie "March of the wooden soldiers" he plays a small role in the movie,being much of a prankster. He throws bricks at people for some reason and the Cat playing the Violin is just a random guy in a cat suit. Also Julian in the movie is played by an actual spider monkey,thankfully the monkey was perfectly fine.
