Wait a minute, I know for a fact that he's done this one before. I know that because I distinctly remember him whaling on Dante from Devil May Cry and he's redesign for the DMC game. This is a rehash of an older list.

The worst about his redesign is that Tiny Tiger was never supposed to be an actual tiger in the first place. He’s a Tasmanian Tiger AKA a thylicine, an extinct marsupial that is in no way, shape or form a cat.
Meng Huo in Dynasty Warriors 6 Empires. They took a unique and interesting looking character who was fat (but the buff kind of fat) and used a unique weapon that stood out amongst the ancient Chinese weapons, and they turned him into a naked Magilla Gorilla who threw around giant mushrooms
That god awful Spyro from the skylander series.
