Raul Julia! Raul Julia! 🧡🧡 Not crying…. just teargas!
and Joe Bugner 👍
Every day that we forget about that Super Mario movie brings us a step closer to enlightenment.
Butter for my nutter 😂 using it
A
You’re a ghattdamed treasure.
"These Video Game Movies Adaptations " – And the winner for the most awkwardly phrased and confusing WhatCulture video title goes to….
I love Street Fighter the Movie, it's fun and awesome. Not to mention Raul Julia's line "for me it was Tuesday".
Goddamn brilliant 👍
The title is confusing. Is it about movies adapted into videogames? Videogames adapted into movies? Movies about videogames that are adapted into a third medium?
Surprised you didn't include the original mortal Kombat fiasco
The live action Tekken movie
There are multiple ongoing storylines in DOA, all of which make WAAAAAAY more sense than that disaster of a movie.
"What the movie (Streetfighter" did get right is" The soundtrack. Clasic album.
Mortal Kombat annihilation. That movie scarred me.
So the Resident Evil movies are considered "good" by WhatCulture?…
And then there was Birds of Prey which was even worse than the DOA movie, and it wasn't even based on a video game.
I remember renting the Super Mario Bros movie from Blockbuster in the late 90s/early 2000s and I liked it. But I was also like 6 or 7 years old lol
How about video game movies that DIDN'T suck?
It takes allot for me not to finish a movie.. I've seen the baddest of the bad.. I've never made it through the legend of chun Lee… And I even had a crush on the woman who played her
Prince of Persia is one of the better ones at least. I thought they did a fairly decent job of it
Doom: Annihilation. Worse than the other Doom film (and that's saying something).
I genuinely liked the Mario movie.
Nice Bike Jules
Sam Wise's dad as M. Bison was badass
I love the Mario Bros. movie, I grew up with it. My only complaint is that it is a bit too short.
What happened to Sci Fri? We miss Simon!!
Writing off losses on a movie does not equate to the government paying for a movie.
why did you remind me of that super mario movie.
Brits, too good for the one finger salute. Had to double it.
it's like everyone forgets the live action Double Dragon ever happened. lol
You thought those movies were bad? I challenge you to watch The King of Fighters. it makes Uwe Boll look like Francis Ford Coppola.
At least, video game movies are on the way up now. Sonic the Hedgehog was pretty fun and I'm reasonably excited for the upcoming animated Mario movie.
I completely agree with you about babies!!
Damn it. Now I’m curious and will have to look up the Mario porno. I know I’m going to regret this.
I loved Super Mario Bros. The Movie and I'll never apologize for that
Hey I remember sitting in the theater 🎥 as a young buck so excited for Super Mario and leaving being so confused about what I just watched.
AM I THE ONLY KNE WHO ACTUALLY LIKED THE MARIO BROTHERS MOVIE?! 🔫
I think that Paul WS Anderson films are almost as bad as Uwe Boll films. With the exception of Mortal Kombat (which is only because the writers used Enter the Dragon as the template so while not as good at least is watchable), you have the Resident Evil films (I rate the last film as my 3rd worst film I ever watched -Honest and Springbreakers), I think he also produced DOA. And while it is other media as well as a video game, Alien Vs Predator was just awful
Thank God for pokemon movies.
Ratchet and Clank wasn't terrible, but it sure was disappointing for a concept that actually had a lot of potential to go against the "video game movies are bad" narrative, those games have some really cool plot lines and they could have gone off that but really dug into all the totally insane weapons.
I loved the postal movie. It's a so bad it's good funny.
Thankfully, YouTube is U.S. based and most of "us" don't know what that 2 finger gesture means… so, you're good, brothers!
How could you not include resident evil and silent hill in shit video game adaptations?
I forgot about the DOA movie
Honorable mention to assassin's creed, double dragon, and mortal Kombat annihilation
