I think I can agree with mason here the dog shit hit reg and the consistent running in this game is ruining the gameplay experience it’s just not fun.
You need to go speak to the devs about this because this happens to me everyday and it sucks, please go talk to the devs

Sloops just need a little more speed going upwind so with a little creative sailing you can corner and heard Brigantines and Galleons, then if its turned around Brigantines have to actually put in the work to catch up to you. Sloop already is at disavantage from getting broadsided by those ships, and you really need to know what your doing when solo slooping for pvp against competent crews. its literally gameover once your mast is down and you get boarded by 3 people.
In all do respect your making money off playing the game while in all likely hood they are just playing for fun. Seems ill-advised to complain about others play-style in a game because it’s not the best content for your own bottom line. None the less, still a fan.
The devs should add a slipstream effect so you can catch running ships.
Well they had a valid point. It didn‘t make any sense for them to fight you because you didn‘t have any loot. And that was a crew who just wants loot and is not only after pvp. You have to understand their point of view, too.

All people complaining about players running away and selling loot instead of fighting, but then a video comes up with a "Epic Escape and sneaky sell" and suddenly it's awesome :v

Unpopular view: He had a good point. If you don't stack any loot before you fight there's no benefit for other crews to fight you. They're just risking loot. You could spend 20 minutes building some loot. Or you can complain about nobody fighting you.

Honestly private servers (one player ship max) should really be a thing so anyone not interested in pvp can just chill and play how they like and anyone who likes to fight gets to see more people who like to fight
if loot gets thrown into the red sea, it should appear in shipwrecks or as washed up treasures
imaging some players just enjoy PVE and commendations, and suck at pvp
Jumping servers AND sailing to the red sea is bad.
I get why they run from you, hopping from Server's to servers just to attack players while you have zero loot.
