Octane mains let us all just calm down. This nerf does not make him a bad legend in Apex Legends, it makes him BALANCED. This will make you think before stimming, and will slow the game down to reduce the third parties, but it does not make him terrible.

Don't be salty Octane mains, everything is going to be okay. You just have to use a slightly larger portion of your brain to use the, STILL, easiest legend in the game!

Sorry, but NO. 40 seconds to regen 2 stims which is the standard for stimming is just too much. Apex is becoming warzone, too much nerfing for movement, its sad.
I’m pretty sure 1.5hp/sec regen was supposed to be 1hp/sec this whole time. and they’re just fixing it now
Octane is probably the best legend he's agresieve and can run if overwhelmed
You move slightly faster than OG Octane and you can use it a little sooner after cooldown but it has the exact same regen rate and you use infinitely more HP when stimming causing you to die sooner and now you no longer have the ability to get it back nearly as fast. On top of that they removed some of his distance too. Sorry but no, he may be my main with some pretty insane stats tied to him but holy shit I'd rather just go play any other game now.
I feel like people, whose main legends get nerfed, are just super annoyed that they just HAVE to adjust to these nerfs. Even when an adjustment is minuscule or requires you to do some extra stuff before.
I wasn't around when they made Wraith's tactical to have a wind-up before use, but I feel like the outrage was spectacular!
Honestly a bad nerf. He need his ult cooldown to be longer and for it to be much louder. Those were his only issues as a legend.
This raises the skill floor not the skill ceiling

If they want to nerf him they just have to revert his jumpad to the old one and his pick rate will be lowered to 0
Hey rogue what do you think of the "fix" for tap strafing? I don't think this will take it out of the game as mice like razer you can bind the scroll wheel in the razer software. I'm not sure how getting rid of the scroll wheel binding does anything
Its just like the pathfinder nerf. You cant mindlessly grapple everything

I use octane since season 1, and in s1 it was really bad, this nerf it's good, i don't care lf any nerf of octane.
I dislike seeing octains purely because how strong they are in combat and tactically, hopefully the mindless apes will have to think more lol
