Thrifty Gaming Pickups 044 – Memorial Day 2021 PS2, Xbox, Xbox 360 Pickups and More!

Memorial Day 2021 brought about a small, but nice, little pickup of games for a pretty solid price. Got some titles for the Nintendo DS, PS2, Xbox, Xbox 360, and even a sealed PS4 game! Lily also helped out, like all other episodes, for the first time on camera in a while.

  1. Fallout 3 does not feature the DLC on Xbox One/Series. I have the GOTY which is 2 disc. Disc 1 is base game and Disc 2 installs the DLC to an Xbox 360 HDD.

On the One/Series. Disc 1 will play the game without any DLC, but Disc 2 will boot the game with all the DLC. So you really only need Disc 2 on the One/Series.

  2. LILY IS SOOOO CUTEEE!! Fantastic pickups! The Last of Us Remastered's resolution situation is a little complex – on base PS4 it's 1080p at 60fps, though be aware that it can be a little unstable sometimes, typically in scenes with lots of water. You can optionally lock it to 30fps if you want. On PS4 Pro, if you have a 1080p display, the game runs in locked 1080p at 60fps or 30fps. If you have a 4K display then you get 1800p checkerboarded up to 4K at 60fps, or native 4K at 30fps. Great video!

  3. Everything you buy do you have a way of backing it up ?

That’s what I do to every game I buy now that I modded my ps2 and ps3 and got a dumper for my n64 and sega.
