  1. I would recommend an orbweaver or similar type of device. I've been using one since around mop and it was a game changer. Combine that with an mmo mouse like a naga or g600 and you could bind pretty much anything the game throws at you. It only took a short amount of time to get used to. Downside is you can't really play without one once you're used to it.

Also if you play a lot of alts, it's best to keep keybinds on the same key. ie, interrupts, slows, dispels, spell steal, main defensives, main ability, main cd, etc.

  2. As a healer I'd like to add one suggestion here: you can use addons that allow you to click on frames to heal targets. Like, you could have left clicking someone apply shield on him, and right click cast Shadowmend. That basically turns your left and right mouse button into hotkeys whilst not being intrusive with anything else outside of frames. (You can then also rebind the normal targeting and menu-opening functions to ctrl+click and ctrl+rightclick for example.)

  3. Regarding healers: An addon like "Clique" is also amazing. You can have your dps rotation on 1-4 and your heals on left and right-click with modifiers, e.g. shift+left-click for a regular heal, shift+right click for a big heal, and so on.

  4. It is really interesting how differently everyone sets their binds. Dratnos mentioned cautioning against using modifiers with an MMO mouse, but I find it SO much easier to use modifiers for the buttons on my mouse compared to pressing shift/ctrl and another key with the same hand.

  5. Ive chucked everything on my mmo mouse, 12 buttons, shift & alt modifers for all 12 buttons. And god i still run out of space, although I do play druid so that might be why

  6. Dratnos says wouldn't recommend shift modifying keys looks down at sweaty hands I use all 12 on my razer naga and then Shift all 12 again. been doing it so long I cant turn back, my fingers have molecular fingers that reach out and touch the keys with a mere thought. THEN on top of those 24 I have letter key binds for other things like defensives etc.

  7. Been watching since episode 40 something and never wished I was a guest untill this one. I play with an mmo mouse and have a key bind/ui mentality that makes me a great multi classer. I think there is alot of key points I could have added, you guys definitely should have pulled a healer into this one. Growl should be part of your panel, as you guys know he's a very humble dude and you guys need them heals!
