  1. Several details of the game that bear keeping in mind.
    1. Rivers have an extra feature in this game. If you step onto a river tile, for one turn you lose a lot of movement, but then the next turn, you count as being ON the river, and you can move extensively upon the river itself.
    2. AI's in this game and most Amplitude game will not necessarily suddenly backstab you. If they like you, but then start to not, they will decline in friendly relations in a gradual process. It's not like they'll suddenly out of the blue backstab you.
    3. It really doesn't help you too much to make one city's territory too big. Fewer cities means less overall Influence gain and a greater Stability hit to that individual city. From seeing this game played, probably a balance is two to three territories per city.
    4. You're VERY unlucky with the independent cities that spawned near you. Since they're both hostile, you're not getting to see the city integration system. Basically, you can either put money or influence into an Independent City, and they will start to like you. A bar fills with so many points per turn depending on how much they like you, and once the bar hits 100 points, you can spend Influence to absorb that city into your empire. Endless Space and Endless Legend have VERY similar systems regarding minor factions in their games.

  2. If you get a chance to give the devs feedback, I'd encourage them not shying away from having mouse-over tool tips/descriptions for some of their more 'ANCIENT GLYPH' based method of tagging information in sub menus. Can always have an option to turn it off for folks more into it, but yeah, that's a lot of stuff to forget easily. Trade menu is really unclear too as to whats active/not active. But excited to see more during next release. Hope you get a chance to tackle AI Robo Spiff.

  3. If this is the last vid I'm just going to say it was an absolute pleasure. Watching you learn the game was great fun and I really enjoyed the commentary you gave as you played.

If your wanting more of this style I highly recommend Endless Legends.
