  2. Paused at 6:43. I agree that a poor launch of a game deserves to be called out. While Cyberpunk 2077 did launch poorly, it was still in better shape than Fallout 76 and other launches that had happened before and around its time. Cyberpunk was also patched to fix a chunk of the worst bugs within a few days of launch. Management made mistakes and that led to a fumbled launch, I do acknowledge this. However, the amount of hate it got was undeserved. I believe the hype train, then the push back of the second launch date pushed too many people over the edge into hating the game no matter what. This is the reason I have been defending that game, which is still really, really, good.

The Management decisions to delay review copies and what other shenanigans they got up to was not on the developers, which I believe that you pointed out. Thank you.

Overall, I'm looking forward to Bethesda games again. Todd Howard has at least openly admitted that Fallout 76 was a shit show and I hope this means positive growth in the future. Elder Scrolls 6, I'll be waiting for you.

  3. Okay, so what they likely want to say but are unable to is Zenimax is no longer mandating live services to make the company look good for acquisition.

  4. I get Fallout 76 is not a good game but, for people to say that 76 has tarnished Bethesda legacy and, “how will Bethesda rebound after this” like does Morrowind, Oblivion, New Vegas, FO3, Skyrim all not count??

My point is Bethesda has some bug issues but they have made some of the most magical and memorable games of all time. I think they deserve a pass for one shitty game here n there

  5. Todd Howard: "You see, now we that we have even more money to waste we can give you 64 TIMES the detail with our new edition of the Crea-, wait what? What do you mean I'm fired?"

  6. Yeah, I trust Microsoft less than I do Bethesda. This just determined for me I won't buy their products. Most people seem to not notice Microsoft has been pulling an EA or Epic and buying every game developer and IP they can get their filthy hands on. This is the end of an era in gaming. There are no strong independents, because they will be crushed by one of the giants in the room and their remains purchased. It's following basic development of monopolies. The only thing Bethesda gets out of this is the only thing they care about, buckets if money for the execs and shareholders. That company sold its dignity and integrity off for cash grabs a long time ago.
