  1. It’s definitely too early to tell but for me I won’t buy it till it’s on a deep sale, if at all. Too many issues with crashing and now I haven’t been able to even log in for 2 days or so. Not enough time in the day for all that bs. I do hope it’s issues get worked out and it’s successful.

  2. I agree, I hope the difficulty ramps up, but like you said, it’s probably way too early to tell. Also, we’ve been grinding the opening hour of the game endlessly, so feeling OP doesn’t overly surprise me. I’m expecting a wider variety of enemy types and mechanics in conjunction with the scaling world tier system to help bridge that gap and am hopeful that what endgame they’ve designed presents a challenge worth tackling and optimizing builds for.

  3. I like the discussion but this is the same logic as comparing a PTS to the actual patch. This is a demo and the amount of skill tree we have used is literally 2% of the game. I think this is going to be a really fun game. We are only scratching the surface my friend. This is going to be a big one!

It depends on so many variables … i put my self in a scale of 7/10 in skill in most games i play … i can usually beat the game with some effort, do solo content, such as challenges, and some crazy completionist stuff … and party play i'm usually organised enough to beat all the group content. $60 for ~200 hours of content is a very good trade off for me … a lot of people just payed the same for CP2077, for less this amount of content (myself included, beat the game 3 times, less than 150hours, got bored).

  5. Hella people are complaining that the bosses and captains are to hard on wt5. Plus the cover is really for the enemies because there not as broken as us. When the world tier gets higher where goin to see who’s really good.

  6. People are still grinding the same content in another game and is the demo to easy at world tier 5 and gear level 9? Let's take a long look and deep dive, can not make this up.

  7. Not being a live service game may initially have some getting bored quickly. But, if it scratches an itch for just running & shooting, then it maybe fine for what it is. I don't think the devs were trying to compete with the current meta of gaming, instead giving you something you don't have to do a lot of thinking with… Aim Point Shoot. The transition maybe awkward, as I find myself being tactical in a non-tactical game!😄

  8. I´am not afraid. I played Cyberpunk in one week and I regret nothing – so I have no problem when Outriders ends after some weeks. Its not a Division or Destiny.

  9. people farm out the demo, get most top gear in demo than say" its easy"
    also covers are for enemies not for you, thats why it is there

    imo Division games are way more easy than Outriders, you can just spend hours behind cover poking and healing…no tactics needed
    Heck even on WT5 with all directives Division ain't that hard

  10. I found myself spend more time playing this demo than a full released game.
    If the players receive outriders in a good way. I believe more missions and challenges could be added down the road. The devs seem to be listening to the player base. I have high Hope for outriders.

  11. I think Demo's in general are there to pull you in to the gameplay, story, machinics and lore of the game. They give you that powerful factor. Remeber when they first introduced us to the world tiers, correct me but aren't there 15 WT's. Tiers (might be) 1-5 hard mode, 6-10 challenging and 11-15 legendary. With that, enemies will also scale with group size.

    Im gonna wait a few days after release to see what the actuall game/story/progession is like before diving in. I really hope this isnt another Anthem…

  12. From what the Devs have said this will not be an easy ride the further we progress. It's one thing farming captains over and over as you become familiar with npc behaviour and spawns (Hence the saying "Practice makes perfect"). take a step back and think what you experienced the first time you encountered Gauss, he is easy now but first time I encountered him I got my ass handed to me.

  13. Key word I heard you say was “tactical”. I’m not really sure the developers have made up their minds about what kind of game they want this to be. This is evident by the matchmaking problem, at least on PS5. It seems like the devs want the community to dictate the direction of the game. Big red flag for me. Make a commitment.

  14. If it lasts a few weeks or me, that sounds nice. If it lasts a few months for me, full worth it. If it lasts a few years, that'll require expansions and breaks between sessions, but that's awesome. They're not selling a MMO or long term project, they're selling a game that has online functions.

  15. Game is clearly outdated. It's amazing ppl even interested in this game. If u tolerate and accept mediocrity, then we will get games like this. And if u don't know if this game is outdated or not then u simply don't know any better. It's 2021 and we got ridiculous cut scenes for simple things, bad textures and poor resolutions. This is a 2013 game.

  16. At first I played it like The Division 2. Tactical. It was waaay harder to play. Also because of the bad hitboxes while sniping.
    After an hour I started playing as an Astartes from W40k and it was kind of too easy. Even without legendary Gear which never dropped for me.

    But hey, they gave a shout out for the Beastie Boys and if they lower the price to maybe 30€ I will play it.
