  1. Shadow of War really is the superior game from the Shadow of Mordor, despite the loot boxes controversy ( which as stated, were completely removed as a feature). More varied uruks with different classes amongst themselves, you can now get trolls and you can develop honest to god rivalries that really start to mean something the more you and returning orcs keep clashing

  2. I have always loved shadows of middle earth and I also have 500 hours in shadows of war and I hate how people say it was the loot box that killed SOW because I finished the game before the loot box were removed and I didn't a buy single loot box
I think it was just that all the game at that point had loot boxes and for most you had to buy the loot box to get any where and people thought that the same was true for shadow of war. which sucks

  3. I still had a lot of fun with War in the North. It was the first M rated Lord of the Rings game. It had 1 bug that prevented you from progressing if you didn't do something in a certain order, but there were fixes around it

  4. here's my top 10 and it's a lot different from this list, and i'm more into RPGs and Strategy than Hack and Slash…

    1. Shadow of Mordor
    2. Battle For Middle Earth II
    3. Battle For Middle Earth
    4. The Third Age (Gamecube)
    5. The Third Age (GBA)
    6. Return of the King (GBA)
    7. The Two Towers (GBA)
    8. Lego LOTR
    9. Lego The Hobbit
    10. LOTR Online

HM: War in the North – i never played, but people seem to be spamming that in the comments, so i will give it a mention if THAT many fans feel so strongly about it.

  5. Lego games are terrible.
I have played about 6 of them and my save file has been corrupted at some point in ALL of them! You should take glitches and bugs into account and that is by far the worst one, and Lego games are notorious for being unstable.
