  1. As a horror fan, most of these games had some traumatize moments and some great jump scares! Duck Season (2017) is the only game that made me "on edge" for the entire game!! I still have no recovered from it…..

  3. I think it's more about what you DON'T see, but what is implied and/or referenced that disturbs me the most. In Ghost Recon Wildlands, for instance, there are references to human traffickers snatching people right from their own beds in the middle of the night, slave labor, somebody placed into a stack of tires and lit on fire, cartel initiates taking turns on women and children with machetes, a man having half of his fucking face burned off, numerous civilians crucified or hanged, and one of the darkest and most frustrating endings in gaming history.

  4. I was most traumatized by the whole area in the Deep Roads in "Dragon Age: Origins", when you are exposed to the Broodmother and what was done to Branka's followers. I had nightmares about it, years after I first played it. That was so appalling.

  6. They need to do a new one or redo this list. They missed some really good ones, although older. Phantasmagoria and 7th Guest and Blade Runner are 3 games that have things that will mess you up.

  7. I see Subnautica isn't on the list. xD Even when in Freedom/Creative mode and with console/dev commands, I still get spooped.

Like the fact that if you can hear a reaper leviathan roar, it knows where you are. DDD:

  8. Really the only games that has traumatized me is Until Dawn and Dead Space, and The Walking Dead.
    I love horror/jump scare games a lot.
Though the ones that have always stuck with me are those 3.
Until Dawn just because of the whole psychological horrible it puts on you.
And Dead Space because the vast lonesome void of space is already terrifying as is, but then when you throw in all the monsters and being all alone, it's horrible.
Also, everything going on in The Walking Dead, but when Lee cuts off his own hand, or asking Clem to shoot him. Very traumatic.

  9. The Last of Us Part II made me depressed and traumatized in a pretty bad way, between the controversial moments, the characters, the non-heart felt story, their was no way I felt good after watching that final cutscene.
