Top 10 Women Characters in Games

I love video games as a medium for storytelling and in those stories are great women characters that have been a part of my favorite games of all time. Now this list isn’t about which ones I’d love to go out on a date with. It’s about how they play, their fierceness, and the ways they tackle their challenges and adversity. There’s a lot great characters to choose from so let’s jump into it!

  1. I've been watching your content for years and I wish you continued success. Would you consider putting spoiler warnings for things significantly before you launch into spoilers of them? I think I got off fairly easily, but you may have just unnecessarily soured a long-time fan's opinion of you because of this. Myself partially included.

  2. Omg the way you spoke about number one was with such love. This was a great list, very different from what I'd expect. I'd have to give some love to Aqua from Kingdom hearts and Aya Brea from Parasite Eve! And of course KAINEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE NIER BABY!

  3. My no. 1 will probably always be Samus, but aside from that, some of my favourites are:
    – Judith from Tales of Vesperia
    – Maligou from Tales of Berseria
    – Morag from Xenoblade Chronicles 2
    – Bayonetta
    – Alex Roivas from Eternal Darkness

  4. Bayonetta. BAYO-F/N-NETTA! This ALPHA FEMALE brought "Sexy Back" to Gaming while shooting, slashing, burning, freezing, & sending her enemies down to HELL, lol!! πŸ‘ΌπŸ»πŸ‘ΉπŸ’…πŸΎπŸ‘ πŸ”«πŸ”«πŸ”«πŸ”« πŸ’‡πŸ»β€β™€οΈπŸΎπŸ¦‡βš”

  6. I didn't expect Aerith at number 1 but I can't say I disagree with his choice. Having said that I am legitimately shocked Lara freaking Croft didn't get at least an honorable mention. Chun Li, Samus, and Lara are like the Holy Trinity of original badass women in games!

  7. In terms of playing the character, I'd say my favorites were Aya Brea from Parasite eve and Jill Valentine from RE1 and 3.
As for woman characters in general, Zelda's at the top alongside Eva from MGS3 and GLaDOS.

  8. So I used Aerith in the original PC port of FF7 (after having played it on my friend's PSX). I knew the game and decided I wanted to power her up completely. Lvl 4 LB and ultimate weapon for her all before her demise.

She was so OP that I was able to use her to get enough battle points in the Golden Saucer arena to get Omnislash before the end of disc 1. She was so underrated and was totally worth investing time into and is still one of my personal favorite video game ladies.
