Do you remember the episode of Power Rangers Time Force after 9/11 where Ransik sends the Power Rangers a terroristic message and the theme song plays over him talking. They started heavily editing episodes afterwards and even reruns of old episodes to remove destruction of buildings. Somehow Time Force overcame that and is still a top 3 season. (non debatable.)
Also I knew they weren't gonna put this on the list but The Last of Us 2 should've been on here. The whole game is trash but the ending is the icing on the shit cake. Abby kills off Joel in the dumbest and most brutal way in front of Ellie, we're forced to play as Abby through most of the game when we wanted to play as Joel and would at least rather play as Ellie, they try their hardest to make Abby the likable character and Ellie the bad guy, then at the end when we finally think we're gonna play as Ellie and get revenge we get a cutscene where she loses a couple fingers and then sees Joel with a guitar and decides revenge is bad. I guess revenge is only okay if you're a jacked woman smashing a man's skull with a golf club.
