  1. We are not saying that these are "bad" games. Rather, we are ranking the "worst" games in terms of falling short against other releases. We love most of these games, as we are sure you feel nostalgia for them as well.

  2. Technically, Paper Mario kicked off Year of Mario. That title was cute & weird at best. I didnt buy or play, just going off of what I seen on Twitch. I'd be willing to bet Mario Golf was supposed to drop last year but delayed due to worldwide issues. That game would be a better game to kick the celebration off right. Well other than an Odyssey 2 anyway Also, Im a huge Mario Fan since 86, but I'd argue SM64 and Sunshine were horrible games on their orig systems. SM64 has a good excuse of being held back by problems of the era such as camera issues. Sunshine has no excuse tho. Unpopular opinion but wutevs… garbo. Anyways Super Mario Party on Switch is probably the most recent biggest disappointment for me. No online with friends Nintendo, really? Oh yah I forgot Nintendont do internet very well.

  4. Most of the entries on this list are from Mario and Pokemon games. Is this all what Nintendo makes? I'm sure there are other bad games out there made by Nintendo that is not Mario, Zelda Pokemon, Kirby…etc.

  5. Let's see what games were on the list that I can grab a pitchfork for? Pokemon Ranger, Wii Sports Resort, and… yep that's pretty much it. Not offended by Super Mario Sunshine that game just doesn't compete with the other 3D games in the series (sorry guys). Looks good though.

  6. Some of your choices for the list are clearly great games.

Some are bad yes, but some like Super Mario Sunshine, Nintendogs, Pokemon Battle Revolution, Wii Sports Resort, Mario Kart Tour and Super Mario 3D All Stars are great games.

  7. Growing up, I loved playing Super Mario Sunshine, Pokemon Channel & Nintendogs. Though I admit Pokemon Channel didn't have the greatest gameplay.

Don't think it's the best idea to make a video of the "worst" games when a lot of the games aren't even bad to begin with :p

  8. This list just solidifies why I fell off with Nintendo after the SNES days. I’m an “old school” fan and my first system ever was the 8-Bit Nintendo in 1988. The SNES was an amazing follow up too!

But when the N64 showed up it was clear that Nintendo was headed in a completely different direction. I get that video games in general were moving into more polygon territory but in my opinion it seemed like Nintendo were purposefully running against the grain for the sake of just being different.

Titles like SUPER MARIO BROS., THE LEGEND OF ZELDA and METROID are arguably classics but their 3D counter parts (and the FPS of METROID) felt hollow and lacking to me. Not to mention the POKE’MON heavy shift of attention in the mid 1990’s.

And where as I realize that 90’s babies don’t like hear O.G. Nintendo fans constantly talk about the “glory days” of their games and home consoles…I don’t really give a rats ass!

Nintendo ruled the world in the 1980’s and a little bit into the early 90’s. Things like the Nintendo, Game Boy and Super Nintendo were revolutionary! The N64? Not so much.

  9. 6:21 i for one wholeheartedly disagree! The length of the game was kinda eh! But there are some missions that are just frustrating! Pokemon ranger deserves a remake!
18:14 sure pokemon quest is bland and all but it at least did better than most other titles!

  11. I disagree about all-stars. The whole point was revisiting Mario 64 the way it was back in the day. I loved the fact they changed nothing, it literally was the only game I wanted to play in the whole bundle.

  12. How dare you choose Mickey's Speedway USA and Metroid Prime: Federation Force!

Racing around America with Mickey Mouse and co. is fun. The tracks are nice, there's a subtle learning curve for the most part and the weapons are cool. It's another great Mario Kart clone by Rare. My only complaint is Frantic Finale with Oregon and Colorado. Those tracks are a nightmare.

Federation Force is worth the effort. Nintendo wanted to make a multiplayer campaign Metroid game. You can't just clone Samus Aran. So, go with her most trusted allies: the Galactic Federation. The mechs are cool, the planets are original, the gameplay is good and the bosses are amazing. Just because it wasn't what people wanted, doesn't mean it's bad.
