  1. I noticed something interesting the other day. I always thought PSVR wasn't capable of perfect black on screen. I thought this because on games like RE7 and countless others, when you see a black screen, or completely unlit areas there was always a faint amount of static pixel noise accross the image. But the PSVR uses an OLED panel so it should be capable of perfect black, right?

I finally stumbled upon a game that shows this capability, Super Stardust VR loading screens are 100% black, zero pixel noise, and it's not like the screen is off, theres is a loading graphic in the center of the screen. Why is this the only game I've ever found on PSVR to fully push the contrast ratio of the OLED panel?! What gives??

So I press play. Get SIX SECONDS IN and immediately press stop to calm myself… freaking GHOST GIANT is better than SUPERHOT?? (Weird cuz I watched the big debate so I know all of this already but)… Ghost Giant….better than Moss and Superhot. Unbelievable ….ok back to the list. 😼

  5. obvious choices in weird order. There's always some nagging issue with every VR game that makes ordering them hard: either controls or resolution or gameplay. RE7 is a top game, but entirely lacks motion controls, Hitman has them but ds4 tracking is a bit wonky and just one hand anyway. TWD SS has awesome controls, immersion and physics, but game itself is a bit lacking.

Though choices. My favorite VR game ever is NMS, even blurry as it's on PS4. the ordering is a matter of taste, but I guess they are mostly all there…

  6. if your buying hitman 3 just for the VR….. DO NOT….if you wouldnt play hitman flat you will not like this game! it is gltchy as hell and full of bugs! its poor quality, seems rushed and does not immerse the player as other PSVR games do!! no reflection in mirrors, sniper usage is terrible and the controls are actually horrible! you can stab someone repeatedly in face and it does nothing! fibre wire is unuseable!!

  7. I realize there is a desire to get and discuss new games on a top 25 list. I also realize these are your opinions but if I was on your team I would not allow Moss to not be in the top 25. It is utterly magic and charming. Talk about presence! No PSVR should miss this one!

  8. PSVR is still growing and the top 25 showcases the success that the PSVR has had. Much like the flat market, we are beginning to see multiple games that could be #1. Hopefully this momentum is carried on to the PSVR 2. Excellent commentary and presentation, very enjoyable to watch.

  9. I played Ghost Giant and was disappointed. The game has bad controls and bugs, I had to restart the level because an important item is missing or out of reach.

And the shot of the basketball is very bad, mainly for 100% the game.

And I was not moved by the story of a bad example of parents. I thought the ending was weak on the mother's side, maybe it's a cultural thing, but in my country the mother would be arrested for abandoning a child. So the message that the game wants to send was lost on me
