Have you tried the grand opening mod from the shotgun: darkness charmer? Works like the scrap grenade except has more damage and explodes on you hitting the shot instead of a launched grenade. Very powerful
Question: I don’t have grand opening yet but I have scrap grenade, are they very different, or just grand opening is better because a bit more damage without the arching grenade? I know shadow comet has a longer cool down but you don’t have to reload but based off what grand opening says it basically seems like scrap grenade but a bit better.

I recently got ultimate bone shrapnel! Every crit every second explodes like the bone shrapnel!
love my death shield and juggler etc…but i realy love torment and agony pistols…the 3x damage after reload to marked targets and death chains has proven to be just nasty on my firepower ash/bleed pyro build….i rarely switch to my primaries and just go to town without concerns of ammo economy…found death chains was the best mod for them for the damage over time and death chains also slows enemies..even slaps on bosses when i mark em up and catch the reload..crits cause bleed and then i get ammo back and increased damage and the fire rate and reload just keeps things rocking..it is a fun and aggressive play style using them.with thermal bomb and ash blast and feed the flames with various mods i am able to just go ham.never thought slaying out with pistols would be so much fun…lol..
