  1. Oh, the twist about Penelope in Sly 4 is certainly DUMB and makes no sense… Yep, I'm still popping blood vessels over this, and whoever wrote that BS deserves to be slapped by a man doing the Fish-slapping dance.

  2. Great list Oscar.
I was little surprised you didn't show Dr N. Gin during the pre-countdown explanation; low key thought he'd be on the list at that point.
The longer it went on, the more I realized he would not be here. By the time the top 4 rolled around I was like "He's not even on the list."
Oh well. Beggars can't be choosers.

  3. Sad no mention of Panzer Paladin.

And when talking about SRW, sad not to see Cobray Gordon in the Dis Astranagnt, an otherworldly mech designed by none other than Kazuma Kaneko himself.
Also, you are wrong about the size of the mechs in Zone of the Enders, they are far smaller than what you described.

  4. Well, I was both surprised and not surprised at all with some of the choices for mech pilots. I knew that D.va, Bowser Jr., Tron Bonne and Eggman would be here, but how could I forgot one of the manliest warriors of all time, Sanger Zonvolt? To add more to that character, I actually met him for the first time in the first Project X Zone game, where we must fight him in order to use him as a Solo Unit, to be paired with other characters, and thanks to Kaguya Nanbu, his samurai sword transforms into the Type-X Colossal Blade, which is basically a giant-mech blade fit to be used only by Sanger Zonvolt.

  5. My honorable from is Ei Sekigahara from 13 Sentinels Aegis Rim.

I'm not gonna spoil the story but basically he pilots a first generation Sentinel that can only fight at close range and tends to have trouble with aerial enemies.

The two other first generation pilots have a partner/friend who pilot a third generation sentinel who focus on longe range combat and sync up with them in battle.

Sekigahara prefers to work alone and actually gets better in battle when he doesn't have allies near him, and remember that bit about first generation sentinels having trouble with aerial enemies, Sekigahara has a higher chance to crit them out of the air.

I'm not exaggerating when I'm telling you not only does he stop enemy armies in their tracks, he annihilates them, with a first generation Sentinel.

  6. As a long-time mecha fan, I am pretty satisfied with this list.

It's really cool that you've injected your own experience with Mechs in the countdown with entries like Bowser Jr, how you've selected a few representants of the archetype with some very thoughtful choices (I mainly think of Eggman) and how you choose to put in the frontline the very faces of modern mecha games.

A while ago I did a Twitter post to give suggestions for this specific countdown. While I'm kind of sad to see many of the Mecha Pilots from Mecha games not making the list, I am glad that this reflects your opinion and researches, as this is why I watch your content. Each and every one of those characters deserves the spot you gave them, and the list was very cool to watch.

I want to say that this is probably the single list I wanted the most from your channel. I'm not really someone that comments on youtube a lot, but this time I figured it had to be done. Congratulations for the video, and I'm looking forward to see the top 10 Parasol wielders next time.

  7. You know, in retrospective, Xenoblade Chronicles has a lot of Mech pilots (not counting X because i know literally nothing about it)
    SPOILER below:

Like, we have the aforementioned Egil, but also Mumkhar, Fiora, Gadolt, Xord, Meyneth and, depending on what you count as Mecha, Zanza himself in the first game and you Have Bana, Poppi(due to poppibuster), Mikhail and Malos on the second

  8. Also, there js a question i have to make, Was wily in the running besides Tron as the megaman rep on the list or do the Wily machines not count as mech?

Although, now that i think about it, most are just ships arent they?

  9. Wasn't number 1, but I freaking called Sanger being on this list.
Also, I'm unfamiliar with the gerbil, but I initially thought it was Joaquin from that one episode of KND.
