  1. Rider safety. Should neutralise feeding zones for cyclists. max 20km/hr. we have seen many a muesset drop or snag another rider, skill in itself taking a cloth bag at speed one handed. Nervous times for riders.

  2. Laura and you are a dynamic duo, Chris, and on the team jersey swaps, I say go for it all the way and go for it even for a day, just, yeah, let the UCI know a bit beforehand so they can alert the other teams as to who is wearing the hamster disguise. And here in the States, NASCAR race cars do that all the time, have a big sponsor and different paint scheme for one race or a portion of the season and everyone wins–the team gets the infusion of cash and the sponsor gets the visibility and the fans get to see something different and often very cool. Same with ball sports teams and their throwback jerseys, different look and something for the fans to enjoy and perhaps buy. And pro cycling could have throwback days in celebration of past sponsors and riders and teams and maybe even 7-Eleven would pony up the big bucks for a rider or two to rock that classic look on July 11, the day they give free Slurpees to their customers. Or Look or Bic or even Gatorade, the colors worn by Mr. Fignoun in his last big victory. And just FYI, your trans-Atlantic sneeze reached all the way to Pennsylvaniai, I can attest to that, Chris. But it's okay, it didn't get through the screen.

  3. Highlight of the show: 4:48 . That was 1200W right there! 😀
I'm just going to say it… Based on the past few years, Nairo's days as a prime GC candidate are over.
Trentin sounds like he's part of the rider union or something along those lines, I feel for him. ^^' As a mod on these channels that's constantly trying to answer questions and provide links, I can appreciate the frustration when people are being given everything on a platter and still they cannot be bothered. Instead they turn up in the last minute or past it and start complaining about how they weren't given a chance. <.<'

Ps. As of this moment, there's no Sufferfest link in the description ^^'

  4. So brother, just wanted to give you a little love here from across the pond in Canada. Thanks for your TDZ rides – your hell-bent for leather streams inspired me to treat them as all out effort "races". Today I completed my little TDZ and achieved my "best" result on the Champs-Elysees course. Is it a race? Well, everything on Z is a race, no? Anyhow, in the event that I rode today I held onto the second group on the road and finished 3:36 down on Chris Printchards' time from his 'podium' ride. So according to Charlie Oiseau (or whatever his name is), I'm approx 10% slower than the least fittest youtuber out there. Wicked! What does that mean? I dunno, but I'm watching Printchards' channel on a regular basis for sure and not the other pedantically boring guy. Chris, you will always be my Cherry "Watt" Bomb. Keep ridin'. Out….

  5. Maybe the pro's should have their SC's put 10 or 15 mm's of spacers under their stems so that they can actually get into the drops for an extended time. Eddy Merckx rode in the drops for an hour once. Heard it worked out well for him….

  6. 2 sides of a coin … eolo kometa young new blood same old politics pulling strings. … arkea samsic old lions same old lack of support on the head of the table. The race could be better having arkea? We never really got to know, if only. If only.

  7. Nail squarely on the head by Laura, Ef was all PR crap/hype, fine was for not putting in new design, (also think of race organizers if they print up programs/info and then have wrong kit info) not the first time they fine people for riding in different kit, think mario cipollini.
