a Critical fail only happens in combat (aswell as critical success). On ability checks 1 and 20 are the extremes obviously but they dont mean that you succeed/fail automaticly.
Wyll and Gale might just be my favourite companions
odd you would love dnd. the freedom you have of having basically infinite options, the only limit being imagination. you love story based games which dnd completely is and the randomness of depending on the DICE, those f'n DICE, which always wait for that final moment to betray you!!…that's the fun. you and luckless should let me DM for you sometime. critical role has had some success with dnd streaming eh?
Odd, if you inspect your companion, you can see how they feel about you. Since, I saw you were trying to figure it out. Though, you probably already did. Either way, I am loving watching you and Luckless play this game. 🙂
Oh man, I wish they fail in the Druid/Kid roll…
If only it was 6 party members. You two would be able to go your own way and do your own thing, with your own battles haha.
I failed 3 times to save that child. If you don’t save her it’s pretty sad what happens after. That Druid is fucked up

Remember this is a "Druid Grove" , which means this squirrel might be a druid. Iknow it sounds cheasy but druids in D6D can take several animal forms such as bear, boar, rat, wolf etc & even squirrel :D.

23:50 – You don't have to end the day to get to the camp, use fast travel for that. It's a button under "Short rest" .
I can tell already Astarion is going to be my favorite. All the voice acting is spot on, I hope the custom characters get voices, I hate the silence 😖

Those character portraits are a major turn off for me.
I really want to watch you play it, but I also want to do a blind playthrough first… so I will do the reasonable thing… I will like all your BG3 videos, but I will watch them after I get through the game myself…

Odd, I think you’re underestimating the seriousness of the squirrel incident
"Let's leave behind Shadowheart and take on another warlock." Ummm I know she's prickly…but Shadowheart's literally the ONLY healer you have in the party. BTW if you fail that check in dialogue with Kagha, her snake bites the kid and THE KID DIES. No shit. One of the only things I really hate in BG3. Killing a kid is not at all an appropriate consequence for failing an ability check.
I'm new to the channel and I've to say that I love how you guys play the game naturally, I don't know, like you're not perfoming to an audience. What I mean is that I watch and feel like when I'm playing with my friends!
