I found a way to get fine wood before your first metal axe though it takes time I took advantage of the games physics and rolled the fallen logs into each other
The yellow mushrooms give you a stamina boost.
This game is amazing. Portals killed it.
ur fermenter is for potions of sorts so u can go to the snow, under water, and the like

Your trees are next to rocks! They can't grow it they are too close to a rock xD Don't know if you figured it out, just commenting as the video goes
Pickup the yellow mushrooms in the dungeon they are great food
When you use hammer select an empty box, when breaking things makes it easier to see what you're doing.
@5:50 Carts can be repaired, just require workshop nearby. To use carts make a path (hoe option 3) to the mine / logging area from your base. Works like a charm.
@18:56 In the top right corner of the minimap the biome you're in is named, oh young one 😉 Plus going into a battle with nearly broken weapon is not good strategy …

If you drop items they never despawn. I have fenced off sections that I drop my different types of wood into, it's more convenient than creating the wood piles. Also have sections for stone, coal and flint..
Sconces add to your comfort level – thus extending your comfort boost time.
By the time the 4 resin in a standing torch burns through – only 2 of the 6 in the wall sconce have been burned.

the axe chops wood. sword is higher dps
speaking of death runs I got killed by something that basically had a lair RIGHT at my death point (I had zero idea how much damage they did, it was enough to if you had over less then 100 HP it one shot you) took a LONG time to kill them. about 5 or so death attempts.

Anyone know if they will release this on more platforms when they finish? I don’t expect them to in early access but I would just like to know if they have addressed it

the numbers in the parenthesies, are the additional damage on top of the base damage.
Barry takes a little bit of work but once you figure it out it is golden. Basically you wait until they start their swing and then you click and hold the right mouse button when they hit your shield you will get the normal whitish blue but you’ll also get a red ring as part of the block and then what it does it let you do the bonus damage on your next hit so you kill things faster. The secret is holding the right mouse button that was the hardest thing for me to remember to do.
