  2. its terrible to play crusade with lists that you dont know how they perform and then you crush or lose with absolute easy and then you play only against that one guy all the time.

  3. Quick pointer Matt, you kept mentioning trying to cast the psychic power Symbiostorm that allows you to reroll charges against a unit. I'm guessing you meant Synaptic Lure, the Kraken unique power and not Symbiostorm, which is Kronos' unique power. Synaptic Lure does exactly what you said it does, but could just be confusing for people unfamiliar with nids. Good batrep though!

  4. You couldn't Psychic Action with the Neurothrope on that first turn – it advanced.

And, you really should be playing this with power. Several of the Crusade uses for RP are things like spending one point to completely dump weapon loadout and re-equip with a completely different loadout. That usually does not change the power level of the unit, but it can radically change the point value of a unit.

Not to mention that you can dump and add completely new units in-between battles without any cost at all. Having to add up the point values for all of that will quickly make you hate yourself.

Also: point values are going to quickly be useless for you because of the traits you are going to add to the units. Trust me on this, power is imprecise at best, but it works very well for Crusade games because it makes assembling your army much easier for the games.

  5. "tyranids don't normally want revenge"

Y'know, except for that one book, devastation of Baal, that one, premier novel, by a premier black library author, that is a major factor of the Warhammer 40k canon going forward from the Indomitus era. Y'know. Nothing big.
