Boars WILL TAME AND BREED with just RASPBERRIES i've confirmed this on multiple occasions
If you breed two 2 star boars together do they have 2 star babies? That might be worth it
Addendum: Unlocking Bronze does not give you the cultivator and additional crafting items alone, You have to have both Bronze and Pine in order for it to unlock.

I think breeding boar for meat will be so you can feed a larger creature later down the road maybe pet dragon?? 😁
I cannot get the boar to go into the pen after chasing me I'm very confused as to why I heard it could be a workbench and they won't enter areas with workbenches so I got rid of the one but even still I get the boar to aggro me and and chase me and right after I get near the gat to my pen and walk in it takes off running in the opposite direction.
My boars keep getting frightened, even after I've tamed them and petted them. They have even made a piggy.
Is there something I can prevent it from happening?

Anything fire-related will scare both wild and tame boars.

Don't keep torches next to them are they won't calm down and eat
geez thats a lot easier than how i moved the one i tamed, i chased him around with a torch till he went in the pen…took forever.
taming and carrot farming require a buff. Turnups are just way better atm.

tame 2 stars boars for breeding, they give much more meat and scraps

i can tell you for a fact you can plant within a 1×1 square and be healthy.

I got around 30% with raspberries, but you need to be close to a boar.
