All crypto needs is immunity from his own EMP, drone on follow mode, and a quicker cool down his emp.

He really needs it crypto is a extremely bad dying breed I mean he's a good legend concept is amazing but it is a really skill based character honestly
Just shy of 5k kills on Crypto and obviously I'd love to see some AI capacity in his drone – which would fit the animation interactions he has with it. A follow mode and a patrol would be more than enough, just use the Mirage clone function that copies his movements for the follow command.
His passive could do with a buff as well, given it is currently just the operation of his drone essentially. I've posted this before, but here is my idea for it
Hacked The System : Crypto has infiltrated the Apex Network. He gets alerts on his minimap whenever an intractable assest is used – bridge raises, respawn points, crafting stations, gravity cannons, care packages etc (though excluding loot bins)
I dont particularly like the battery idea as i often leave it out for a long time for my fights and knowing when someone enters the area. I think he desperately needs a passive there is two that is really like "Off the Grid" crypto cannot be scanned by the enemy team and possibly digi threats. The other is "paranoia" while put away the drone will scan behind you (since the camera is facing behind him). For his ult while the drone is not out crypto throws and emp grenade that can now be his by watson and it could possibly act like an arc star or while the drone is not out crypto throws a grenade that will not go off right way but will function like an arc star and can be shot but crypto will be able to activate it on command
Scout mode can be used Like the ping, point then the drone would go towards that destination.

Crypto mains enjoy while you can because after this rework he will become a lot popular

If they were to do a buff in this style I think the best method would be to implement the straight line mode in which the drone would point down. There could also be a key to stop the drone moving in that direction.
Already commented but a cool passive could be operating the drone normally whilst downed.
Id honestly be surprised if they dropped it on the 7th i love my main rn and honestly only needs a passive, this would change him..

I am a crypto main and I love him to death but I would hate to see him overpowered, it's nice to have a legend that requires a little more thought out strategies and not just run in and destroy everything… the lead and battery life ideas are interesting
I think cryptos rework is going to make seer useless
Crypto should have the option to throw an emp like in his trailer or fly it in with his drone like he can now. And be able to lock his drone in a fixed position with him being the anchor, kind of like mirage when he presses down on the dpad to control his clone. This would allow him to be more mobile and be creative with angles and positioning. Further more to keep it from being op give the drone a 1-2 min timer while deployed before it explodes, that can be reset when you recall your drone! Please take these ideas into consideration ππ«
What if in one season we had a legend that could stop time
my concept is using mirages decoy button while drone is out will pinpoint a location the drone will head too. holding that button will do a follow me feature where the drone follows around you in a vicinity. increase range drone can see to 45m. Make him immune to his emp and thats a solid buff.
edit: also instead of having to look at banners through drone to see how many squads are in the area anytime he pings a banner or deathbox it tells you how many squads are in the area. but can also be used in the drone. This can be his passive.
