Same thing seems to be happening with ARK: Survival Evolved, the Series X update is already out but apparently the devs are still figuring out the PS5 port. Although I will say even without PS5 optimization it runs much better and looks better than on PS4.

Anyone else’s ps5 crashing with ps4 games ?
This video and the last are pretty bad. You have a good voice but your knowledge is lacking and you are spreading disinformation. Users should stick to Digital Foundry's analysis of this game and why there are any performance differences especially since you are largely ripping their footage and comments anyway and layering in your own thoughts which are often incorrect assumptions and speculations. That being said, you are a good speaker and I wish you well and hope to see better content from you in the future.
It does not "perform" better on series x! Nor does it "perform" better on ps5 either!
The fact you've made an update video trying to correct your mistakes but yet still come to the same conclusion is ridiculous!
You even mention this in the bloody video: Series x is dynamic between 1080p – 1440p with more fps dips than ps5!
Ps5 is native 1200p upscaled to 1440p! No dynamics at play for ps5!
So in motion/in game they basically look the same!!

It might only be displaying at 1440p or 1200p on the PS5, but the game looks a lot sharper than that. I'm also running my version from a "slow and old" external HDD at 60fps which I've had for a few years nowm
