What’s up guys and gals, I’m Kage848. I love to make videos for Youtube, mostly early access survival games like 7 Days to Die, Empyrion, Raft, Mist Survival, The Forest, and more! I also dabble in City Builders and strategy games like Civilization 5, Civilization 6, Dawn of Man, Stonehearth, Factorio and Rim World. I do at least two videos everyday of mainly tutorials, let’s plays and general gameplay footage. Thanks for watching my videos.

This Early Access game is not complete and may or may not change further. If you are not excited to play this game in its current state, then you should wait to see if the game progresses further in development.

  1. one thing you should def avoid is a two star gobo. that thing drained the life outta me, level 1 black metal shield didn't protect me from its nasty swing. good thing I had stam mead to escape. You could definitely fight him tho, just make sure he's alone

  2. @Kage848, If trying to explain logically, why iron is used for last tier armor:

Leather/troll is the lowest natural huntable material you can acquire,
Bronze is lowest, physical defence you can get.
Iron is strongest material that can be for defensive properties.
Silver is in no way better than iron, silver is easier bendable than iron, to achieve more complex shapes easier, and thinking of valheim world, silver posses magical properties, such as frost resistance we first was introduced, so silver armor was enhanced with magic(you can think in such way).
Dark metal, I can't really figured out what it stands for, but visually it looks like dragon glass. Dragon glass is knowen as obsidian. Obsidian naturally is offensive material, meaning its way more sharper, but its not as durable as iron, and used as weapons material its much more stronger and deadlier.

But one thing about black metal that bothers me so much, since if i'm correct about it being dragon glass, there's no volcanos near (since thats the place where dragon glass is discoverable). Ashlands are pretty far, and goblins might probably have looted them from shores, since we don't see any mining spots for it and plains is almost always near sea. That's the only logical explanation I might have come up with. So I'm betting we would see some mining spots in ashlands for black metal in future, if i'm wrong then i'm wrong.

So there we have it, lets not forget, as we progress and get masterful at crafting, we can use already commonly used materials to craft master crafts. Its not about what you use, but how you use it. Its technique that evolves and our hands that gets better. Also don't forget upgraded forge allows us to process material in different approach. I may misstyped word or two, but actual idea is there in my words.

Ps. Kage, you're missing lox cape to look op ;p

  3. Put a 'Home' portal in your home base, and bring wood and stuff to make a workbench and a portal when exploring. If you need to drop stuff off and repair just slap down a workbench and portal, step through, get a new rested buff while repairing and dropping stuff off, and destroy the workbench and portal on your way back. If you see something very interesting you can use it to make a new base somewhere. When you want to make the new base a permanent addition you simply make a new portal for it at your home base, give it a decent name, then step through the Home portal and rename the portal in the base. The Home portal is then free for the next time you need it.
Oh, and if you make a temporary plains base or simply want a safe spot: Dig a moat around one of the rocks and build on there. The moat stops the berserkers and Lox and such from reaching you and damaging the rock or base, and being on a rock means the throwers don't do anything either (if they don't see you they tend to throw against the rock instead).

  4. This is not end game arror from what I here could be wrong was told they are going to add two or more boss and that would make me think that there going to be better arrmor to fight them like my guess that there will be Obsidian arrmor and Sea serpent Scale armor there is rite now a Shield that you can make out of sea serpent scales

  5. Part of the game mechanics is having to travel with resources. Like not having a swamp nearby forces you to play it the way the developers though the game. Build an outpost, gather the resources,
return home with the resources while being scared of dying with 1k iron etc. If you cheese the game by creating new worlds to move stuff, you basically use cheats since it's not the way that the devs had us play it. In conclusion, if you can';t be bothered to farm iron the normal way, just use cheats to spawn it, it's the same as what you are doing now.

  6. I only have two words, main world and a trader world because I’ve searched so much for it. I won’t be having worlds for stone, iron and or silver I don’t think it’s suppose to be played like that

  8. If you are interested in some good seeds for iron (and general ore) mining, I copy paste you my seed notes:

    BHcTYcT7K7
    – Has a Swamp with ~27 Sunken Crypts in the SE corner of the spawn island.
    – The spawn island has a large lake in the middle, NWW of spawn and a coast SW of spawn.
    – To reach the swamp go directly SE from spawn. The Lake should be left and the SW coast right of your way. Leave them behind. You reach another coast after a while. Follow it E then NEE. When you have a mountain in front, you are half way to the swamp. The coast makes a turn leading you SE to the swamp.
    – A Trader location is in the N of the spawn island. To reach it first go NE from spawn, then N.

    TSaHwhQCa8
    – From spawn walk SSE, mostly through forest and meadows until you reach the coast. Follow the coast S. There you reach a river, that you have to cross. Slightly south of the river is a big swamp with at least 17 Sunken Crypts.
    – If you follow the Coast at spawn NNW, you will reach a big Black Forest with a lot of Burial Chambers, behind it is another swamp with ~10 Crypts.

    Helloworld
    – From spawn walk west. You should reach a coast. Follow the coast west (initially slightly south not north). The coastline then turns NNW, W, N. You should reach a swamp, which stretches very far into NW direction. It has at least 16 Sunken Crypts. If you go a bit NW, you find 4 of them around the Bonemass altar. A bit more NW, there are 10 of the Crypts very close together.
    – This seed is also special, because the spawn island has meadows, black forests, mountains, a big swamp and big plains all on one island. Eikthyr, The Elder, Bonemass and Moder can all be found on that Island. Only for Yagluth one has to sail SW from the W-end of the spawn-island plains biome.
    – The Plains and Swamp are on the NNW peninsula of the spawn island. The Plains are West of the Swamp and there is a Black Forest with a bit of meadow between them. The Black Forest has a decent amount of Copper, Tin and Burial Chambers. So building a ore processing base in the meadows allows for easy multi-ore processing. There are also mountains and Black Forests south of the swamp.
    – Going north from the swamp, one can pass a narrow piece of ocean, to reach a trader location.
    – The plains also has at least 5 goblin villages. South of it one can pass another narrow ocean piecs, to reach even bigger plains.
    – For another Swamp with ~26 Crypts, go exactly north from spawn, passing by a mountain until you reach a coast. Pass the ocean northwards, to reach an island with the swamp.

    vArbR563cw
    – You have to cross a bit of ocean for this one, but it has a swamp containing ~54 Sunken Crypts!
    – From Spawn simply walk SE until you reach a plains biome.
    – In the NE corner of the plains, cross the ocean westwards, to reach the swamp.

  9. -Best arrow for serpent is the frost ones. Serpent will try to run away if it takes too much damage. Frost arrows slow him so he can't escape.
-Villages you may find totems, need 5 to summon boss once you find his location.
-I found boss location stone in the middle of a 'stonehenge' POI that also had a Berserker Fuling hanging out in the middle.
